More than 10,000 people in Arkansas were dumped into a blackout Sunday following an attack on that states electric grid, the FBI said today, the third such attack in recent weeks. In August, a major transmission line in the region, around Cabot, Ark., was deliberately cut.
The FBI said that two power poles had been intentionally cut in Lonoke County on Sunday, resulting in the outage.
According to the FBI:
In the early morning hours of September 29, 2013, officials with Entergy Arkansas reported a fire at its Keo substation located on Arkansas Highway 165 between Scott and England in Lonoke County. Fortunately, there were no injuries and no reported power outages. Investigation has determined that the fire, which consumed the control house at the substation, was intentionally set. The person or persons responsible for this incident inscribed a message on a metal control panel outside the substation which reads, YOU SHOULD HAVE EXPECTED U.S.
snip
The implication appears to be that the culprit not only knew where to find the equipment he needed to cause a power outage, but he also know how to use that equipment well enough to pull down two utility poles.

So a story about 10,000 people without power didn’t involve a power outage?
say what?

I noticed that the “press release” link embedded in the article went to a local report - not a “standard press release”.

They fired their editor and hired the reporters six year old nephew.
The same mind who invented Axe Cop.

Oh wait a minute. I think they mean the arson didn’t kill anybody’s power. That happened later with the downing of two power poles. Still, the word “yet” would have meant a lot here!

YOU SHOULD HAVE EXPECTED U.S. I did
I have been expecting this for twenty years.
I am just surprised that the efforts are so small scale and such a small and remote state.
Makes me think that this is the effort of a Green group and not Islamonazis.

I hope it wasn’t ODumbo who was behind this. Good enough he locks up seniors at an inn with arm guards. No need for this crap.
To: Whenifhow
YOU SHOULD HAVE EXPECTED U.S. What does that mean?
"You should have expected us"?
or
"You should have expected [this], U.S."?
