I am confused, how can the politicians reform the immigration laws, but cannot change obama care, because it is the law

“Speaker John Boehner “over the last few weeks has continued to talk about the importance of the House moving forward on immigration reform,” McMorris Rodgers said, according to a transcript provided by Univision.”

This confirms what we have heard from Cantor and Goodlatte.

Get the pitchforks ready.

Enforce the current laws Cathy, THEN we will talk about what needs to be reformed, if anything!

What an empty pantsuit she is. Disgraceful that she is in leadership.

In the recent years all we have accomplished is to lower taxes for wealthy persons. And the more we lower them the more of them vote Democrap. The more we lower them the more the establishment Republicans become feckless. It is time to raise their taxes. If they are going to create a permanent socialist establishment they ought to pay those taxes since more than anyone else it their fault. As long as the border is not secure and the emdia just becoms a bull horn for the Dem's we should just raise their taxes every year.

Sorry - It’s settled law.

Tell the law breaking illegals to turn themselves in or jump on the first freighter back to the craphole they came from.

Thank you for this information. Cathy McMorris Rodgers is my congress critter. I just emailed her in regards to this hot potato. I highly suggest that any other FReepers out there, who are in her Congressional District, let her know what you think about her moving forward on immigration reform as well. I am not in the mood to pull any punches, nor put on the kid gloves when dealing with these GOP-e types either. Below is my email to Cathy:

I am very sorry to read that you are going forward with immigration reform. If the Federal Government will not enforce the current immigration laws, or secure our southern border, it is not the laws that need reforming, but rather the entity that is failing to carry out those laws. I regret to inform you that I will not support your next re-election bid if you move forward on immigration reform. I will however, do all that I can to help find and fund someone to run against you who will remain true to conservative principles and the laws of the land.
