U.S. Rep. Roger Williams, R-Austin, reported anti-Tea Party and anti-Republican protestors vandalized the entry to his district office in Cleburne this week.
Tea bags were hung from the door, along with signs, which Williams' staff claim are the property of Moveon.org. The signs deliver a variety of messages. Among those are, "It's time for your recall," "You're fired," and "It's time to vote you out."
(snip)
Other signs call Williams an "anti-American racist" and "D___bag Republican."

Stand strong, don't let the name callers win.
It doesn’t take a lot of them. The solution is to investigate and prosecute each one to the fullest extent of the law. In this case, it was a Class C Criminal Mischief offense. Nevertheless, they should be slapped with it.
What their side is doing is exactly what we should be doing. Bringing a gun to a knife fight in Obama’s own words.
Identify specific individuals; isolate and marginalize them; condemn, rebuke and persecute; attack them - symbolically as a minimum - physically if needed.
It’s the Obama way.
This is all they’ve got—They can’t make a reasoned argument for any of their positions, so they resort to emotion and intimidation.
This attack, however, betrays their desperation. If, and the MSM says, the Republicans are going down, why bother?
Why do I expect that? If it had been a member of the Congressional Black Caucus, that's what CNN (and NBC, CBS, PBS, and ABC) would be doing.
What? You say they won't be giving equal coverage to Tea Party Republicans? I'm shocked!
How sweet that his conservative district takes in and dilutes the University of Texas-Austin, a liberal hotbed.
I wouldn’t be surprised if it was some leftist tea-sips from t.u. who did this.
Taping tea bags and signs to a door is vandalizing a property? If so, that’s weak. The “vandals” didn’t destroy or damage property.
To top it off, you have another FReeper, Gaffer, advocating physical attacks “if needed” on specific individuals.
With all the serious issues facing the country, aren’t we blowing this minor incident out of proportion?
Make sure you contact the senator and let him know you support him. It invigorates them when they hear from their supporters. We can turn what was meant for evil into something good if the Senator gets angry andis not owed by the true anarchists; the progressive socialism movement.
Looking at the writing on the papers on the door it looks like this may be the work of one person.
Learn the law in Texas before you shoot off your ignorant mouth.
Vandalizing property that causes substantial inconvenience to the victim is criminal mischief: shoe polishing windows, graffiti, t.p.-ing a house, etc. all fall under this crime.
And threatening violence against wanton lawbreakers is not just our right, but our DUTY.
This is NOT a “minor incident,” because these anarchists mean far worse damage.

Liberals and gays are used to living out of fear; their response is to throw a temper tantrum and do things under the cover of darkness (or in the closet) to evade detection. They wouldn’t last 2 seconds if confronted in person.
Stand strong, Rep. Willians. Those who do what needs to be done, will be persecuted.
I don’t see that it is vandalizing unless they glued the teabags and signs on the door, but how stupid.
Are you serious? Get on their level? No thanks.
Yes, it is vandalism. No different than toilet papering someone's house, which doesn't use adhesives. The only difference is that t.p.-ing someone's house is understood as a good-natured gag in most circles, and the "victim" almost never wants to prosecute.
"What good fortune for the state that people do not think!"
Adolph Hitler 1933
We're getting close, people! Very, very close!!
We should do no less than at least prosecute the laws of this state.
In Texas it is legal (and required if you are a man) to protect your property night or day.
