Elizabeth Warren surges in new Prez poll
Boston Herald ^ | October 6, 2013 | Matt Stout

She’s reportedly waiting until 2014 before she starts thinking about 2016, but Hillary Clinton, according to one national poll, is your frontrunner for the White House — by a wide margin. And Elizabeth Warren is your fastest rising star. The former secretary of state and first lady dominated last week’s new Quinnipiac University survey, which showed her gobbling up 61 percent of support and beating any Republican challenger — be it New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, Kentucky U.S. Sen. Rand Paul or Texas U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz — by anywhere from 13 to 23 points.

Clinton and Warren appeal to the same general demographic -- women, mostly.

The two would split the vote and let someone else get the nomination.

I could see Warren being used as a cat's paw to sink Hillary's campaign in the same way that Obama was, but failing to get the nomination herself.

I get the feeling though that some of Warren's support may come from left-wing guys who will lose interest once they get to know her better, or maybe just when she opens her mouth.

Granted it is Boston but I was there this summer and walked through a parking lot near a construction site. Saw a vehicle with the following stickers: shamrock/union number; Obama; a guy who is running for Boston mayor (Welsh or Walsh?) and a Warren sticker. Another Warren sticker. And a third Warren sticker. All on the same vehicle. I sense the guy was jealous of Scott Brown's looks. :-)

So you think Romney was as liberal as Obama?

Must be a union steward or something.

Warren was given the Senate nomination. I don't think any Democrat seriously ran against her. Party unity was the thing. They all wanted Scott Brown out. If she runs for President she won't have things anywhere near so easy.

Talk about Massachusetts: The only "tea party" guy I see is the one in the ads for his gay son's Democratic House campaign. And when did abortion become "women's health" all the time?

I think both of them are liberal. I don't vote for liberals. Period.

Run a liberal in 2016 and lose again. I won't vote for Cristy, I won't vote for Bush.

It's just that simple.

Shame on you. I blame you just as much as I blame the liberals. You elect the person that is the most like you and then you hold their feet to the fire. This is why liberals always win. They understand you don’t get anywhere unless you’re the party in power. You’re so smug and the liberals just laugh and laugh and laugh.

The reason liberals always win is idiots like you that push for conservatives to vote for the liberal(R) and don't understand that ISN'T GOING TO HAPPEN.

So get over it. Run a conservative or lose again. You've been told people won't vote for your liberal(R), but you insist on arguing that they should.

The reason liberals always win is...

A liberal didn't win....An American hating, Communist, moslem faggot won.

You and your ilk made it easy. People have died as a result, not to mention the loss of thousands of fortunes, and the hopes of generations to come.

We are now trillions and trillions and trillions of dollars in debt. Do you really think the US can quickly recover from this?

You should have thought about that before you let your party ram a liberal through the nomination.

The GOP owns Obama. They made it possible.

If you want to win, run a conservative.

I had nothing to do with it.

They did!

I favored any viable conservatives except Ron Paul and Huntsman. Then I watched as they slowly fell away in the primary process.

Unlike you guys, who voted with your feet...I did not vote for Obama.

The GOP cheated, attacked conservatives, and played dirty tricks to get Romney the nomination, even though he wasn't wanted by conservatives.

Open primaries help Romney.

Counting all of Florida's delegates, even though Florida held their primary early, and by the GOP rules should have lost 1/2 of their delegates, and on and on and on.

I am not a Republican.

The Republican Party owns the Obama presidency. They did it to themselves. Again.

Run a conservative, or lose. It's that simple. But don't whine to me because your party screwed itself again.

I don't owe the republicans my vote if they run a liberal.

Oh, BTW, Romney wasn't a viable candidate. Obviously.

Guys, please. Stop it.

I voted McCain. That @$$wipe got money from me. The slime.

Look. 0bama won through cheating. But the cheating extends so far and so deep that it’s likely to go back to my youth.

We are infiltrated. By international communists who want our resources. By moslems who want our territory. By those who want to replace all of America with uneducated 3rd world morons who will be happy to be ruled as minimum wage drones.

0bama was chosen long ago. Everything else is subterfuge to get us at each others’ throats.

So, please knock it off. Chicago’s Board of Trade started 2008’s meltdown, which was precipitated by sub-prime housing, which had 0bama’s 1995 name on a SCOTUS decision, which went back to the CRA itself, circa 1979. The $hit’s deep. We haven’t played deep 3-D ideals for a long, long time.

So many of the upright young men died in Nam. The Hippies ran for academe and Canada to study their navels and buy time. Their cowardice paid off in perfidy, and none of them changed at all. They still want to rule the world. The communists have convinced them it can be done, but not without collateral damage. THe ‘hippies’ just don’t understand that they are to be part of the damage.

And yes, I voted Romney, although my choice was Newt. Or Cain. Or Allen West.

I don't subscribe to your conspiracy theories.

Obama's win was easy enough to predict because the GOP isn't conservative, hates conservatives, attacks conservatives, and really wants the conservative vote.

A pox on them.

Conspiracy theories? Research it for yourself. It’s all true. Chicago. CRA. SCOTUS. All of it.

And yes, the GOP hates conservatives.

But wants their votes.

The last real American President was Ronald Reagan.

Research it for yourself.

Why? It's meaningless. I'd rather spend my time supporting real conservatives and changing things instead of whining about them.

The GOP cheated, attacked conservatives, and played dirty tricks to get Romney the nomination, even though he wasn't wanted by conservatives.

The conservatives lost the primaries fair and square, with or without opposition from the GOP-e.

Open primaries help Romney.

True enough, and whose fault is that? The various Republican State Parties.

I am not a Republican.

No, you're an Obama enabler.

The Republican Party owns the Obama presidency. They did it to themselves. Again.

No, no...you own it too...you're a great part of the Obamation nightmare.

I don't owe the republicans my vote if they run a liberal.

Correct...you owed the American people an anti-obama vote.

Oh, BTW, Romney wasn't a viable candidate.

Whatever...He was the only place on the ballot to cast an anti-Obama vote.

Exactly, except I voted for Paul Ryan, and before that Sarah Palin.

I liked Rick Perry.
