I wish I was closer to a closed National Park.

Has anybody seen a story today about the WWII memorial? Was it barricaded?

If I had one near me I would DEMAND to be ticketed.
That would give me Standing to sue the obozo and holder criminal enterprise.

Damn. I was just thinking about sneaking into MY favorite National Park--hang gliders (No, I don't do that.), doggies and their walkers, Pacific Ocean and lots and lots of sky.
Damn.

If anyone sets up a support fund, please publish the details here. My check can help make sure that no one is out $50.

And if I don’t pay the fine?

World War II Memorial is closed.
Martin Luther King Memorial, located near World War II Memorial, is open.
How is that, America?

The people I feel bad for are the parkies, most of whom are very nice, decent, pro-American people. And Bambi, knowing this, has stuck them in the middle in his usual evil way.
If people storm the national parks, will Obama be able to get the press to defend him? Probably.

Yes it is, people have removed the barricades and Mr. Ranger Smith has wisely said “look at that plane coming into the airport — look like a 738 to you?”
Or so I hear.

Why should we be fined for visiting a national park when we pay taxes for its upkeep already?
To: don-o
Obama hates that we won WWII. Obama hates Britain. Obama’s father was a British subject, and the son holds grudges.

I am also wondering about the civilian chaplains - did any of them try to conduct services for the troops and get arrested for “trespassing” in a chapel.
To: Conspiracy Guy
Yeah, I’d kinda like to take a trip over the sleeping bear dunes and wander around the closed sand dunes.
