John DrawdyThis comment started with such promise...hahaha the amount of complete idiots on this page is amazing. People have been screaming bloody murder over aca its was too good to be true from the start. On the the bright side last year if you did not have health care because of the PRE-EXISTING condition next year you will be required by law to pay high price for it pay a tax for not having it.
Jim JacksonWhen computers lie to me, well, that's where I draw the line. When I answer the security questions, it keeps telling me there are duplicate answers, which is untrue.
Stephanie Sauer CruzEric, if you don't want to pay car insurance don't drive, there's still a choice. Same with homeowners insurance.
You have to buy it to see what's in it - didn't Pelosi say that?
I don’t think they all voted for it - some have had their hours or benefits removed in contemplation of Obamacare by their employer. That said, I bet a lot of Obami supporters are right gobsmacked about now.
I used the calculator to see what my premium would be if I needed the government insurance. Over $500 a month for a single person! The bronze plan would be $475! What a difference that would make to my budget. I hope I never have to deal with this crap.
Gov't mandates for different states and incomes are all over the place and promise to be for some time.
Private companies are about making money. They will lose all kinds of money if they devote their professionals to getting involved in this boondoggle which the bureaucrats are just going to change and change and change for years.
The companies that agreed to be on the exchange already configured their plans to comply with the law. I find it hard to believe those companies couldn’t or wouldn’t have allowed sign-ups direct through their web site. Just like the IRS doesn’t let you file taxes on their web site, but they give you a list of approved third-party sites to do it on.
We are continuing to experience tremendous demand in signing up for coverage on www.HealthCare.gov. Extra engineers are working around the clock to meet the demand. We have been able to cut the wait times by one-third, getting more people into the application and plan shopping process. We appreciate your patience and look forward to you getting quality, affordable coverage like Kathy did last night: http://hlthc.re/1buqPFbSo now, a three-day wait will only be two days. Yay!
“If you think you’re paying too much now just wait ‘til I get through with it!”
Oh wait....wrong movie.
