Boehner seems to be holding the line for now.

I think he is in it for the duration.

Missing my point. I don’t believe a thing written by TIME. It is a branch office of the DNC.

Do I believe that the Senators mentioned are on the squishy side? Yes. But the libstream media knows who are RINOs too, and is in business to create divisions. All of the quotes listed in the story were not from today. They were a bunch fo aggregated quotes to build a composite story.

The upstart Cruz got between them and the TV cameras without asking “May I?” first.

Dang, I am so glad Texans sent a Cruz missile to DC. Sorry, but we did not realize it was armed with a rino detector and atomic warhead.

THANK YOU!

Boehner, just in time for the train leaving the station, after trying to blow up the rails on its way in.

CRUZ, baby, all the way. HE is what all this is about.

Yes. This is about the existence of the US House of Representatives.

And thus, the Constitution.

As I said earlier this week, and last year, someone wants himself his own October Revolution. ****************** Wikipedia:

"The October Revolution (Russian: Октя́брьская револю́ция, tr. Oktyabr'skaya revolyutsiya, IPA: [ɐkˈtʲæbrʲskəjə rʲɪvɐˈlʲʉtsɨjə]), officially known as the Great October Socialist Revolution (Russian: Вели́кая Октя́брьская социалисти́ческая револю́ция, tr. Velikaya Oktyabr'skaya sotsialisticheskaya revolyutsiya), and commonly referred to as Red October, the October Uprising or the Bolshevik Revolution, was a seizure of state power instrumental in the larger Russian Revolution of 1917. It took place with an armed insurrection in Petrograd traditionally dated to 25 October 1917 (by the Julian or Old Style calendar, which corresponds to 7 November 1917 in the Gregorian or New Style calendar).

It followed and capitalized on the February Revolution of the same year. The October Revolution in Petrograd overthrew the Russian Provisional Government and gave the power to the local soviets dominated by Bolsheviks. This immediately initiated the establishment of the Russian Socialist Federative Soviet Republic, the world's first self-proclaimed socialist state. As the revolution was not universally recognized outside of Petrograd there followed the struggles of the Russian Civil War (1917–1922) and the creation of the Soviet Union in 1922.

The revolution was led by the Bolsheviks, who used their influence in the Petrograd Soviet to organize the armed forces. Bolshevik Red Guards forces under the Military Revolutionary Committee began the takeover of government buildings on 24 October 1917 (O.S.). The following day, the Winter Palace (the seat of the Provisional government located in Petrograd, then capital of Russia), was captured."

New York Times: Blah, blah, blah.....

Ted Cruz is going to be the next ‘real’ President of the United States.

Exactly. It seems to take a lot, for them up there in their own little power bubble, to get it.

When Johnson was asked about the article on the radio here in Milwaukee this AM he stated it was a private lunch and he wouldn’t comment on what happened.

So its likely he did say what he had to say. I think now he’s learned that if he is at issue with Cruz on something he better handle it face to face only.

Ain’t it the truth!

I haven’t been this excited about a politician in years. I’m tired of holding my nose when I have to vote for some gutless wonder liberal leaning guy like our choice for president in the last election.......

(Although he would have been at least marginally better than the guy who did win that election.) Please—no more Northeasterns for a long time! Let’s let a real man Texan have the job.

Isn’t it interesting, the power just one person with unshakeable conviction and courage can have on Capitol Hill?

This entire battle between the House and Il Douchebag, et al, would not be happening, but for a lone Senator from Texas standing up for the American people and the Constitution.

Imagine if there were a just a dozen with his character and drive in the Senate. We might just take the whole country back.

Exactly, people have disagreements all the time, better to talk them out, it was behind closed doors. Who knows if this story is true or how it actually was. “lynch mob”?

I’ve heard all kinds of debate on this, I’m for what Cruz has done but nonetheless, it’s a complex issue.

Cruz is unflappable. He’d probably reply with something like, “well you’ve been here for thirty years and what have you accomplished?”

I absolutely love that line.

Please forward it to Cruz.

One good thing to come of this, is this - They’ll want Ted on Sunday mornings to trip him up and hopefully he’ll shine.

I used to watch the Sunday morning debates but for the last few years it’s been all Obama all the time and I stopped watching.

I do know these shows can launch a campaign like Biden and Kerry always went on them.

I wish Cruz and Biden who both may be candidates would debate the issues of today.

Hey, maybe for ratings the LSM can invite Biden and Cruz for domestic issues and Kerry and Cruz for some international issues.

Wow, this is getting fun.

I feel this way, I live in Texas and voted for Cruz and to be honest, it almost feels like for the first time someone stands up for me. Someone is saying things I’d like to say to those elitist scabs.

This is great, let’s hope Cruz can accomplish something with all this, he has my full support. First off, Walker took on the Unions and Abortion, Rick Perry signed that prohibition of abortions have 20 weeks. The House pulled through in not funding Obamacare. There are plenty of politicians who have done things.
