Woman in DC chase may have thought Obama was stalking her, sources say (He's stalking us all)

The woman who led authorities on a chase from the White House to the Capitol before she was killed by police may have thought that President Barack Obama was stalking her, law enforcement sources told NBC News.

The sources said that the woman, Miriam Carey, had a history of mental health problems.

The chase, on Thursday afternoon, stirred panic in the capital and briefly stopped the mechanisms of government. It happened two weeks after a man shot 12 people to death at the Washington Navy Yard.

Members of the House and Senate, in a standoff over the government shutdown, were ordered to stay in place. One lawmaker was cut off mid-sentence during a speech. A swarm of police startled tourists who were taking in Washington on a summery day.

Time was when a journalist would have offered some type of justification for that claim.

Yes, it shouldn't have been printed without corroboration. But, "journalists" are just repeating unnamed sources now, without bothering to even apply a "laugh test".

This particular article cites "law enforcement". But, I read another article earlier today that quoted the woman's boyfriend. I couldn't dig it up quickly, but my impression is that she may have gotten "freaked out" over all the recent revelations about domestic spying by the NSA.

If you are already teetering on the edge of reality, there have been many things in the past few weeks that would feed paranoid delusions. That may be what happened to this poor woman.

It's a shame she didn't get the medical help she needed, but after someone reaches a certain point, they may consider doctors to be their "enemy" as well. And, it's now very difficult to commit someone against their will.

Psychological evaluation nowadays:

Patient: “They're watching me. Every move I make. My phone, my Facebook. They have satellites in the sky watching me when I go outside.”

Psychiatrist: “Who is?”

Patient: “The NSA.”

Psychiatrist: “You sound sane me.”

It used to be that the MSM would vilify any police department that killed an unarmed person, especially doing so with a baby in the car.

Now the MSM is trying to find reasons why it was just fine for officers to fire on the car and kill someone.

I have a strong suspicion that it will be no less than a decade before we learn what was on her GPS.

if they can’t blame the republicans or the tea party, this will fade away quickly, and nothing will be done

Yeah, what happened to the Navy shooter? Dropped him like a hot potatoe.

The woman had mental depression issues, although she’d dammaged a concrete barrier (and her car), she was unarmed.
Why did they have to put 15 bullets into the car when they had no indication that she was armed?

Is it just me or is anybody else uneasy with watching the cops mow down an unarmed woman with a small child in the car?

It bothers me, too. But, I don't think the police knew the toddler was in the car. I'm relieved the child wasn't injured.

I haven't seen all the videos, but from what I've read and heard, it would have been extremely difficult to determine the driver's real intent. Put yourself in the officer's position and consider the nightmare scenario: the car was loaded with explosives and was trying to get past the barricades.

a few years ago in CT (new haven, iirc) a police officer got into hot water, and the city paid out a big settlement in the case of one malik jones(?) who was hopped up on drugs, and tried to run down an officer, who shot and killed him. now if cops can’t shot someone who is trying to run them down, then how is this justified?

Maybe it was those creepy OFA email requests for donations we’ve discussed here. (attempt at sick humor)

law enforcement sources told NBC News.

I don't believe what "law enforcement" says, and I certainly don't believe what NBC says... so this bit of news doesn't clear up anything for me.

I get the haunting sense that this was another Boston Marathon Bombing setup.

Im betting that this was a well managed USE of an “perceptively anchorless” “perp”.

The Big O and company NEED as many crisises as they think the public can stand.

WAG THE WHOLE KENNEL!!

These “sources” are scrambling to cover their hind ends after killing an unarmed mom with her infant in the car.

“”Sometimes, those drugs don’t react as they are supposed to, and can have a really bad affect on someone’s thinking process.””

They couldn’t have affected her too much - she still had to get from CT to DC.. Has anyone heard anything about how she managed that? She seems to have had coworkers willing to talk to the press and they seemed very fond of her.

I absolutely can’t get over 5-6 people shooting into the car on the one video shown over and over and a small child in that car. Frightening!

I’m sorry I’m just not buying it. Those cops were standing right by the driver’s window. The woman had no weapon and all they had to do was shoot out her tires. Then stand back and wait to see if anythng blew up. By the way if they were worried about explosives why were they standing right by the car?

Its time to accept the fact that our new regime does not hold life very sacred and the new mindset is to erradicate any perceived threat with maximum force.

I’m with you. I can’t wrap my head around that. I intentionally stayed away from all the yammering talking heads last night. I figured none of them would have anything meaningful to say.

If she really wanted to see obozo, they could have told her he was in MD and given her directions!

My wife thinks that Miriam Carey went MEDEA when she
found out how much the deductible was for her daughter's
visit to the Doctor under FREE ObamaCare.

TYLER PERRY'S MADEA'S BIG HAPPY FAMILY

Where Medea drove her Cadillac into the restaurant
after she received poor service

OBTW Miriam was most likely prescribed SSRIs

It worries me.

It worries me also that the "mental health issues" as far as I can tell, comes from a neighbor who apparently offered nothing to back up their statement but it is being treated like it came down from Sinai written on stone tablets.

Back fence gossip is now the gold standard for journalism these days?

Shooting out the tires is something they do in the movies. In real life, shooting out the tires is very dangerous. Bullets tend to bounce off pavement and hit an unintended target.

By the way if they were worried about explosives why were they standing right by the car?

Because that's their job.

In retrospect, this situation could certainly have been handled better. But, given the propensity of our real enemies to use explosive laden vehicles as weapons, at that moment they had to make a decision, and the driver was acting like she was trying to do exactly that.

The term “stalking” is, sadly, associated with vengeful lovers. NSA MONITORING is probably what tormented her - especially if she had attempted to sign up for Obummacare and was asked to provide information - that the DHS already had on her.

She appears not to be of the dependent class - with a good career and self-supporting. By losing her job she may have also lost medical coverage for herself (medication) and her child. Pushed her over the edge.
