Dr. Ben S. Carson went years without ever having a run-in with the Internal Revenue Service. But his good fortune changed after his speech at the National Prayer Breakfast in February, the former Johns Hopkins neurosurgeon said Monday night at an event with business leaders and elected officials in Alabama.
Alabamas Yellow Hammer News tweeted Dr. Carsons remarks from the annual Business Council of Alabama Chairmans Dinner: I had my first encounter with the IRS this year, unsurprisingly after the Prayer Breakfast.

The House Judiciary Committee chaired by Peter Rodino voted for the first article of impeachment, the crime of obstructing the investigation of the Watergate burglary, on July 27th, 1974, followed by several more over the next few days, however the full House never voted on the charges, Nixon resigned first, therefore he was not impeached.
Admit your mistake, and we'll forgive you this error. But not for your ALL CAPS shouting.
Good Lord. YOU Google it.
And then have somebody explain to you what you've read.
There's a *slight* difference between having articles of impeachment drawn up and approved by the House Judiciary Committee, and having them voted on by the full House of Representatives.
The former is merely a preliminary part of the process; the latter constitutes actual impeachment.
I shudder to read your take on what's happening with the current administration...
I couldn’t be MORE sure of this!! Maybe not the first year, but unless we DEFEAT the Democrats, the DEATH PANELS will be Stacked with DEMS, and they will NOT let us get the Health Care that the DEMS will get.
Thanks for keeping history straight...
In light of this continual uncovering of evidence that the IRS was being used by the White House to inflict pain upon an 'Enemies List', perhaps a challenger to gay Senator from S.C. might call for Linda to revise and extend his earlier remarks?
Yes.
And ironically, lefties refuse to acknowledge the fact of Clinton’s impeachment.
I think I know why all this is so. The low information voters define impeachment as being forced out of office.
Simple for them to grasp. Why deal with the Constitution? It’s written in cursive.
Didn’t this guy come in announcing he would bring the parties together? He has done just the opposite. When Joe Miller of FL yelled out “YOU LIE” he was right. Nothing out of this guy’s mouth is the truth. He’s the divider from race to sex preference, to Christian and muslim, everything. He needs to get out of the white house now and go back to Kenya where he was born.
And folks thought that Nixon used the IRS against his political enemies.
Rep Joe (You Lie) Wilson is from SC...:)
Admit your error.
Wish he had shouted this fact from the roof tops AT THE TIME IT WAS HAPPENING!!!
He could have mentioned it in every interview he was on.
When Bill Ayers said the death of 25 million Capitalist would be necessary to bring in their utopia, they didn’t realize it would be this easy.
When Nixon TALKED about using the IRS against political opponents, the Democrats were outraged. So let’s have a full investigation of the link between the IRS and the White House.
Why deal with the Constitution? Its written in cursive.

How apt!
When Joe Miller of FL yelled out YOU LIE...
Joe Wilson - South Carolina
I see a growing revolt coming from this. Not today or tomorrow, but down the road.
“Nixon was not impeached.”
No, he was driven from office in a media coup.
He never actually used the IRS for political purposes. He was rebuffed after one remark, as I recall.
Perhaps others can give the specifics.
“Nixons only crime was getting caught. All POTUS did that sort of stuff.
FDR was the worse.”
I would not describe it that way. The MSM knew that what Nixon did was not nearly as bad as what FDR did, or Kennedy.
It was a media coup because Nixon was a Republican. The Media knew they were able to destroy a Senator in McCarthy, and when they drove a sitting president from officer, their confidence in their power grew even more.
