Thank you all for the updates from the surgery today.

I’ve been away from my computer for most of the day but prayers have been offered up to Our Great Physician to guide and direct the team of medical staff and Jim and his Family.

Thank you, yorkie, for that beautiful message of “How Great Thou Art”.

Prayers will continue for recovery for Jim and prayers of comfort for Jim’s family.

In fact, the bad jokes started when they were wheeling him out of Recovery. Even the nurses were groaning. LOL

Then I am going to share something from "Lonesome Dove" - toward the end when they wanted to take off Gus' other leg. Woodrow asked him what he needed that leg for, since he never did any work.

Gus said, "Sometimes I just like to kick a pig."

I'm guessing that JR is going to find a way to keep kicking the liberals.
