You are 100% correct. You can’t even type on an iPad! How this is a learning tool is beyond me!

They are wonderful devices for the classroom and have too many uses to list here. Pecking is the new typing, and students can do so as quickly as proper typing. I’m all for parents buying these devices for students, but handing them out to a large number are irresponsible children is ridiculous.

I type on mine without any problems. I occasionally use a wireless keyboard while camping in our Airstream and it works great.

However, I don’t believe my tax dollars should buy one for every brat in the country.
