NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) - Police have arrested one of the bikers involved in the initial incident that lead to the vicious attack of a man driving his family in Manhattan, the NYPD said. Meantime, some people are saying the driver is not the victim because one of the bikers he ran over is in a coma.
Video posted to YouTube from the helmet camera worn by a motorcyclist shows a pack of bikers attacking the driver of an SUV following a fender bender on the West Side Highway on Sunday afternoon.
Christopher Cruz, 28, was charged with reckless endangerment, reckless driving, endangering the welfare of a child and menacing. He was not injured in the accident.
The driver of the black Range Rover -- Alexian Lien, 33 -- was with his wife and young child inside when he struck a motorcycle that was in front of his car, police said. In the video, Lien is seen stopping the SUV and then speeding away and striking three motorcycles when the group began to damage his SUV.

Even the wimpy NYPD Commissioner said (after the usual cya “after the facts are in” “we’re still investigating” “blah blah blah”) that if he feared for his life or his family’s life he was justified in doing whatever it took to get away.
The "white guy" is Asian.
An SUV is a pretty big weapon.
Exactly. At sea it’s “The Law of Gross Tonnage.”
It even has a little ditty.
“Here likes the body of Jonathan Gray,
who died defending his right of way.
He was right, dead right, as he sailed along.
But he was just as dead, as if he’d been wrong.”
Guess he was not able to sign up for Obama Care today?
Yes it is. But not as big as my ‘59 Chev. Apache with a full sized steel utility box on back. 3,900 GVW not counting the box and only a few grams of plastic in the whole rig. All in the instrument cluster. LOL
EMP proof too I’ll bet. Tune it up with a hammer, almost.
“Also, keep anything valuable out of sight, or at least off of the passenger seat.”
No problem, that’s where the wife sits.... *rimshot*
Yes it is I believe. And I have done a lot more than a tuneup on it in some of the remotest spots in western North America. Because I could! LOL
Everyone I know who rides Hawgs are very respectful of the rules of the road. Even the outlaw types tend to ride in a two row formation. Pretty cool to have a pack of Harley’s cruise by.
These types are out of control. I did read where their tactic is to merge between (in front of) autos on a freeway. Then purposely slow down causing a void ahead. Then the rest of the bunch come roaring by and fill the void. As seen in the video they are reckless. No chain of command, no structure. Just mayhem.
They were also apparently slicing his tires with a knife, and it was because of damage to the tires that he felt he had to pull off the highway. Also, I’ve read that the cops received 200 calls about the mass of motorcycle hooligans, and the family in the SUV had supposedly aready called the cops before the accident was forced on them.
Apparently there was a provocation with a cyclist cutting him off and then his
bumping the rear tire of the cycle. Who knows for sure all the details.

Road Warrior ? Heck, that is just 4th of July celebrations at your place.
Wow, that video really was reminiscent of Mad Max... or the 1960’s all over again.
Another moron. Why not watch the video with Dragnet2 and discuss how retarded you both are.
I’m sure we’re paying for that healthcare.
You never see guys on Cruiser doing this kind of crap.
Just crotch rocket riders.
Even the bad assed 1% ers don’t do stupid sh*t like this ,but put a bunch of Amish on Crotch rockets and they think they rule the roads.
The videos to watch are the ones before the incident. These guys were driving on sidewalks, driving on medians, running red lights, stopping traffic to run red lights, cutting cars off, driving off the freeway onto on ramp lanes and then back on the freeway, on and on. Yes that kind of stuff happens everyday on Los Angeles freeways, but the only other place it appears to be normal is in south Florida. To do this on the roads around New York city is just insanity. Those roads are too narrow.
Ok
