Surely you've heard... "the end of days"; "prophecy is being fulfilled in our times"; "the time of the end is near"; "Armageddon"; "the mark of the Beast";... and Jesus said in the gospels, "So You, when you see these things happening, know that it is near... at the doors!"
Well, human history is replete with evidence of the evils of sin in the heart of man but make no mistake, this history will come to an end. God's word says there will come a Time when He will draw Time to an end and He will set up a new epoch, an entirely new system of governance, one where evil will be thoroughly judged and righteousness will reign... it is The Kingdom Of God!
But between now and the time that God chooses to set up His Kingdom, the earth must go through hell, as The Day of The Lord must first come. It will be a time of judgement of the earth, a time of Great Tribulation. The beginning of this period of time will be marked by a peace agreement with Israel, and the rise of a world leader who is referred to as the Beast or the Antichrist.
The book of Revelation states that the Beast will require all, great and small, rich and poor to receive the mark of the beast. For without the mark of the beast, they will not be able to buy or sell, and if they refuse to take the mark, they will be killed... unfit to live in the new "paradise", the new paradigm.
The spirit of that era is at work even now in our present day, as Obamcare is the antecedent to the Mark of The Beast. Those who resist are looked down upon as antagonists to the New Way Forward. From their perspective, the New Way Forward represents humanity's best chance at creating a world of Peace and Security. In fact, Peace and Security will become the rallying cry, and anyone who does not Heil Hitler, so to speak, to the new world of Peace and Security will be the enemy of the state.
But how does humanity get to that point? How does humanity come together to agree to accept the New Way Forward? The conditioning of the mind, inch by inch, step by step. It has been happening for a while now, but it is rapidly picking up pace. Look what happened at the democrat convention, they vetoed God, they threw Him out. Look at what is happening now with Obamacare... opponents are ridiculed mercilessly and slated for political destruction. Supporters of Obamacare are socially welcomed and paraded as the New American and Patriotic, while opponents pilloried.
Today marks the last phase of the conditioning of the mind, to accept the Beast and to receive his mark. Obamacare is the precursor to the mark, it is the last hurdle in breaking down societal resolve. Its power resides in humanity's concern for the flesh, to not hurt or be sick, its motivation is self preservation. We are being conditioned and those who refuse are becoming society's outcast. I stand today as one who opposes Obamacare, I gladly will wear the "Outcast" button... they say, "Heil Obamacare", I say to hell with Obamacare. But the larger point is this, the end is near... at the doors; will you be taking the Mark?
