Joking aside, think about this - Kathleen Sebelius has had since March 2010 to prepare for open enrollments October 2013 rollout. Besides churning out thousands of pages of regulations, what have she and her army been doing?
Someone performing as Sebelius has in the private sector would have been fired at least a year ago, when it become obvious that her implementation plan having already missed critical deadlines almost two years ago was still hopelessly behind.
Agree.
Any larger size company would have run multiple tests on the system before launching, including overload simulations.
Also, where else can your approval be below 50 ( Obama) and congress
approaching single digits, and be deemed competent.
To those of us who can think, and don’t depend on handouts, this is totally unacceptable.
Widespread Glitches in 34 States...
http://www.washingtonpost.com/national/health-science/obamacare-site-goes-live-with-some-glitches/2013/10/01/380a4300-2a9d-11e3-8ade-a1f23cda135e_print.html
Washington State's 0bamaCare site is down:
On top of everything else with ObamaDon’tcare, you gotta figure they probably have affirmative action government employees doing the IT work on it.
The system was NOT THOROUGHLY TESTED. No QA whatsoever. Everything was put in place in a hurry.
I just tried signing up from Georgia. No go. I got as far as the security questions, but I couldn’t go any further.
They had THREE FRIGGIN' YEARS!
“The system is down at the moment”
Motto of the U.S. from 2009 until Obama leaves.
Colorado obamacare site is royally broken right now. Can’t do anything without creating an account, which is impossible because the “Create Account” button takes you to the same page as the “Login” button.
Did manage to look at some of the plan terms. People are going to be blown away at the costs. Pretty much around $600.00/month for an individual for a low end plan with around $5,000.00 deductible and $6,000.00 out of pocket.
If the House Pubs can hang tough for another week, the entire country will be begging them to stop this trainwreck.
Just wait until these things get hacked.
On a Miami-Herald news article about the site being glitchy, there’s already people claiming.. “Red State Sabotage!” I laughed.
CTs wouldn’t even load this AM.
I tried to download the three booklets offered by coveredca.com - either an error or not available-being revised were the results (all three).
Also, no info on hospital or doctors is available - a real important factor.
Simply not ready for prime time.
And how many years did they have to prep for it?
********
Notice that nobody in the administration is talking about system testing, a fundamental and essential part of system development. No mention whatsoever.
I noticed the web site requires an email address and direct you to Google, etc.
Perhaps someone doesn’t have an email address and does not want to do business with those companies.
How can the government force you to get an email address?
Seems illegal.
