Elections mean something," Patrick said. "Votes in Congress mean something. We've had votes, we've had elections and we've had a Supreme Court decision that affirms health care reform in this country.

We even once had the 18th amendment that prohibited the sale of alcohol. Somehow, that "law of the land," "vote in Congress... elections... decisions..." got changed.
