Obama had been scheduled to speak at the start of a Cabinet meeting then.

What a putz. Like many shut downs in the past, it will mean little. Barry did not submit a viable budget. The Senate has not passed a budget in almost 5 years. Barry wants to make sure we don't default on the errant spending of the last 5 years. It is like the drunk who ran up the liquor store bill and needs to extend the line of credit on his charge card. STOP! Just STOP!

We have ALWAYS survived government shutdowns (about 17 times in recent history) - doing so is just a “bump in the road”. But, it is not the GOP who has been making the threat, and it is not the “vetted rebels” in the GOP that has made the threat - it has been the White Crib and the Senate Majority Leader who are really making the threat as a proxy for the GOP NOT making the threat. The Libs are trying to project the shutdown that they are threatening onto the GOPe.

Did Larry apply for a job as intern at the White Crib? Will he deliver a pizza to the Oval Orifice and snap his thong? History, as we know, repeats itself.

The leader of my country hates me. Plain and simple. He does not want me to have upward mobility. He does not want my kids to have ONE 40-hour job, but demands they have TWO 30-hour jobs. He hates my politics. He hates my skin color. He hates my limited successes and aspiration. He hates my rights under the Bill of Rights. He hates my religion and forces adoption and tolerance of another religion that hates me. He hates my ideas and ideals. I am a minority of ONE and my leader is actively discriminating against me.
