The mans Range Rover was surrounded by several bikers on the West Side Highway on Sunday. One biker apparently cut the driver off and slammed on the brakes just before the SUV bumped his rear tire. But when the driver stopped, several bikers began to damage his SUV. Cops are investigating.
A pack of bikers pummeled a driver in upper Manhattan on Sunday, after a wild chase that began with a fender bender on the West Side Highway, cops said.
The brawl erupted after the victim who was driving his wife and their young child became surrounded by a swarm of motorcycles on the highway and accidentally hit one of the bikes near W. 125th St. about 2 p.m., police said.

>> he shoulda been carrying.
In Manhattan??!? Hell, he can’t even carry a Big Gulp to throw on ‘em, let alone a firearm.
My weight advantage comes 125 grains at a time.
You didn’t watch the video.
Kinda strange since almost all “bikers” drive a 4 wheeled vehicle as well.
You seem some idiots on the ninja bikers here in Florida but you sure wouldn’t see them doing this. Wayy to likely the driver is armed.
Feral punks on wheels. I hope the law is making good use of this video.
shoulda taken biden’s advice and swung a double barrel out the back window. Probably cause a pile up behind the car as brakes are synchronously engaged.
No doubt at all about the one that bashed in the window with his helmet.
...but yeah, a white man will find no friends on 178 Street unless he is buying drugs.
The video footage was posted on YouTube.

The driver initially stopped,
but fled after the group of bikers began to damage his vehicle.
Police say the bikers caught up withe the driver, beat him up, and slashed his face.
The driver of the SUV was the only injury reported.
He was taken to Columbia University Medical Center, where he received stitches for the face wound and was released.
No arrests were immediately made, police are still investigating the incident.
This should be an interesting thread, pro-bikers, anti-bikers and just about everyone in between will have some malformed opinion about this.
Suffice to say, that I rode motorcycles of almost every type for close to 30 years, until I gave them up for my “health” (ran off the road too many times to count).
Yesterday, driving back from a Scout hike in the Sierras on the US395, dozens of bikers...Harleys, imports, etc. No matter what type...all riding like complete A$$holes.
Cutting drivers off, passing in no passing zones, passing on the shoulder, forcing drivers to make decisions they shouldn’t have to, and on and on it went. Even when I, as an ex-rider gave some room for riders to get around me, I got the finger and was cut-off for my courtesy as a “thank you”.
Why do I share this anecdotal evidence? Because there’s a “new breed” of rider out there. One I don’t want to be associated with.
So the riders will bitch about the cagers and the cagers will do likewise about riders. The age old yarn about who is more evil than the other still goes on.
The guy who jumped off his bike at the end pulled his helmut off to smash the SUV’s window was black.
Ah the wonderful self denial of the “true’ identifier, a circular argument as well..
“true bikers” would never do this.. there fore they were not “true bikers” expect that they were on bikes with all the gear etc.. Sorry have seen too many “bikers” do things on road that are just plain dumb (1 wheel etc).
Yes people in cars do dumb things too.. but not often do they get to have the wonders of group think/pack mentality to reinforce the bad decisions .. racers being the exception of course.
There’s video at the bottom of the article.. most bikes appear to be what you mentioned.
NYC used to have a huge Hells Angel club in lower Manhattan. They were responsible for a lot of violent crime and a few mini -riots.
LOL! Yeah - it is a circular argument - yet I have to wonder, why all the press for this incident and so little press for the 2M bikers to DC. Who has to gain for a negative biker story? With this administration, I've learned that nothing is as it seems.
>> You see some idiots on the ninja bikers here in Florida but you sure wouldnt see them doing this. Way too likely the driver is armed.
Ditto here in Texas, and for the same reason. The throngs of bikers I occasionally see here are all well-behaved. (heh... if they took off their helmets, I’d probably see my doctor, my attorney, my CPA...)
What I find interesting is that the video is from a helmet cam of one of the ‘bikers’.
Love it!
This particular incident involved a Range Rover that didn't pull over fast enough and let them pass. So they surrounded him and forced him to stop a number of times. He had to run over a couple bikes to escape. They finally got him to stop in traffic, smashed his car window with a helmet, and slashed him with a knife in front of his wife and kid.
These bikers are savages and this is a planned yearly lawless event. Please keep that in mind if you're defending these bikers. If Obama had a son who was a biker, they'd look like this.
