Cruz did a great job of turning the argument back on Reid. By the end you were wanting David to ax Red Reid why he doesn’t have to compromise?
Cruz is amazing.
I heard that the debt ceiling was what was lowering the stock market.....that may do us in:o(
Only thing’s going to “lower” the Stock Market is when the Fed stops dumping that 85 Billion bucks a month into it like’s been going on for most of The 0’s reign.
Can’t have anything like reality ruin all of those wonderful economic policies now, can we?
/sarc
Yes, that has kept it up but methinks the party is over.
Yes. I just watched it.
He is direct, focused, unflappable, doesn't accept the false premises of his political enemies, and knows exactly what he is talking about.
Cruz isn't a Washington politician. He is an American diamond!
and Republican Elites Suck Most Of All.
By the way, using ‘calculus’ which has replaced ‘gravitas’ must take a back seat to ‘iconic’. MSM panelist stating, “Like, like Cruz cannot really believe that the President would veto his own iconic piece of signature legislation...know what I mean?”
Good observation
Watch for the GOP elite go into destroy mode on Cruz. He scares them worse than Palin.
My apologies folks, but I will not be doing Transcripts this Sunday. I’m on road, busier than a one-legged man in a a$$ kicking contest!
If somebody wants to post the Transcripts, please go ahead; I’ll be obliged to you.
“on THE road...” See how busy I am, I’m leaving out sentence articles!
I believe you are right.
Some things Cruz has on his side that Palin doesn't is he is a flawless debater. He has a calm and reassuring voice and he can immediately see through the sly traps the opposition sets for him. He not only brushes them off with a smile but he silences them in shame with his concise logic and aggressive attack. He is rapier sharp and skewers his opponents to their face with a thrust to their black hearts. Palin tends to swing more of a broadsword. She may best them, but she leaves them bleeding but alive and kicking - vowing revenge.
Palin has her great strengths, but I think Cruz is our new Reagan. For one thing, he isn't off-putting to a lot of women. Palin has a tendency to be threatening to a lot of women, even Conservative women (I know, because my wife is one of them). Cruz is as smooth as a silk glove. Even after a 22 hour filibuster, he looks like he just got up out of bed and showered and shaved and is ready for the day. When he smiles and talks, you just naturally want to meet him and become his friend.
The GOP elites are frightened of him because he has them outclassed and he shows them up for the hack politicians so many of them are but pretend they aren't. The Democrats fear him because he is so appealing and charismatic and makes mincemeat out of their phony arguments and shows them for the slime balls they are.
Washington in general hates him because he is not a Washington toady. He is a genuine American who has the courage of his convictions.
He is a winner.
#232 is right on. I don’t see how he can lose.
He can easily defend himself against the enemedia and the Collaborators.
DNC Dave can’t help it—he was born smarmy.
Going through it now looks good.
Remind you of anyone who was President in 1980 for two terms?
UH, yeaaaah!
Washington in general hates him because he is not a Washington toady. He is a genuine American who has the courage of his convictions.
He is a winner.
Yes he is.
thank you.
