Alleged Republican John McCain responded to Ted Cruz’s heroic but failed attempt to stop ObamaCare by speaking apparently at the behest of Democrat Majority Leader Harry Reid. Tune in at around 4:20 in the video below and hear this:
“I’d remind my colleagues that in the 2012 election, ObamaCare … was a subject that was a major issue in the campaign. … Well, the People spoke… and they reelected the president of the United States. Now that doesn’t mean we give up our efforts to try to replace and repair ObamaCare. But it does mean that elections have consequences, and those elections were clear … a majority of the American people supported the president of the United States… I think all of us should respect the outcome of elections, which reflects the will of the People.”

He called for respecting the outcome of elections that “reflect the will of the people.” How about his own re-election? The will of the people of Arizona was to elect the conservative that McCain pretended to be in the months preceding the primary.
The 2012 election was as much a Fraud as you are. Why don’t you come clean on how you had a hand in the IRS going after the Tea Party. I myself don’t believe it was the Democrats. I believe the GOP had a hand in going after true conservatives. You sir are a traitor to your party and the country.

John McCain has been a negative influence for years. Our so-called news media has very selectively not allowed the American public to recognize this.
I remember so well that the day after GWB was inaugurated, McCain started usurping the power of the Senate and the press to promote his McCain-Feingold bill. In reality his objective was to divert the press from any potentiallly positive focus on the new president. And I believe it was just out of spite, because he did not win the GOP nomination.
Bush, the gentleman, naively deferred his planned initiatives to McCain’s campaign. The Senate was in gridlock for a few months, and then Jeffers jumped to the opposition, taking away the Republican control of the Senate.
I will never look upon McCain with any kind of respect. He is a worm.

Not “repair” of “The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010”, but repeal and replace with a market-driven model, supplemented with a Medicare system set up for sustainability, not as a slush fund for every other cockamamie scheme to buy dependency and support from persons undeserving of the benefits to be conferred by the program as originally conceived.
The “Obamacare” scheme is of the same order as the man who concealed a viper beneath his shirt, then writhed in agony as the effects of the inevitable bite took place.

After all, Prohibition was the law of the land (under the 18th Amendment), and the politics of its widespread loss of respect for the law resulted in its repeal (21st Amendment).
The 21st Amendment did not totally end Prohibition. The individual states could then vote in local option for either being “wet” or “dry”. But the power was stripped from the Federal government to enforce prohibition anywhere.
How was that for repeal and replace?
Mark Steyn nailed it a while back. He wrote that Republicans (most of 'em) were like the European conservatives - they never repealed a socialistic law, just claimed they could make it work better. The man's prescience is scary.

In spite of their trash posing as journalism, we now have the totally irrelevant McAinal McQueeg and a stronger Ted Cruz.
Shame on you Arizona voters for re-electing this dinosaur. He is the classic Manchurian candidate. He needs attention, and gets it by spewing anti-conservative comments, so he gets his face on TeeVee.

JOHN FONDA MCCAIN
I really wonder about McCain. His major life trauma was losing, that is being captured by the enemy. Has that driven the desire to win, to conquer, to come out on top out of him.
His actions after release point to a man who was going to make himself comfortable for life and never go through that again. Was he ever a maverick?
