Alleged Republican John McCain responded to Ted Cruzs heroic but failed attempt to stop ObamaCare by speaking apparently at the behest of Democrat Majority Leader Harry Reid. Tune in at around 4:20 in the video below and hear this:
Id remind my colleagues that in the 2012 election, ObamaCare
was a subject that was a major issue in the campaign.
Well, the People spoke
and they reelected the president of the United States. Now that doesnt mean we give up our efforts to try to replace and repair ObamaCare. But it does mean that elections have consequences, and those elections were clear
a majority of the American people supported the president of the United States
I think all of us should respect the outcome of elections, which reflects the will of the People.

McStooge is going to have a lot of egg on his face for defending obama when the kenyan does something truly crazy. Like an unconstitutional EO that funds kenyancare. It seems we are headed that way. The GOP has never held obama to account and he feels invincible. Now he is about to go off the deep end when faced with real opposition for the first time, IMHO.
The answer to your question “was he ever a maverick” is NO.
Plus the fact that his major life trauma was not the fact that his incompetent flying got him shot down and taken prisoner; it was his loss to Bush in the 2000 primary election.
After his loss to Bush; what little sanity and loyalty to country and party still remained in him, was completely destroyed by his over inflated ego.
He truly believed that he was “THE ONE”; when his own party rejected him, it completely destroyed what ever sanity he had left.
He has spent the past 13 to 14 years trying desperately to destroy the thing he believes to be responsible for that loss; the thing he professes to love and belong to, the true conservatives in what is left of the Republican Party.
yep
McLame surrendered to BHO way back in 2008. He’s not just not conservative but anti-conservative. He may as well switch parties and make it official.
My brother is a ultra liberal unfortunately. He used to say he loved McCain, but the moment he actually got the nod , he no longer liked him..
It`s all phony support McCain had from the left (we all knew that) But it seems McCain does not know the love he gets from the left is NOT genuine
He probably is not very bright
The GOPe response to Obamacare is not to stop it or turn it back, but to “repeal and replace” which means keeping parts of it intact or Romneycare.
..and abortion: safe, legal, and rare. no, yes, no.
I knew a few pro maverick McCain libs too...until he was no longer their useful idiot against Bush.
Same thing went down with Romney. During the primaries every other candidate was branded an extremist while the MSM, Libs, and ‘conservative’ pundits dubbed Romney, “the only electable candidate”. Remember that? Have we learned that lesson yet? Have we learned that nominating a wishy-washy, reach across the aisle, candidate that the MSM dubs ‘palatable’ is party suicide? Have we learned that taking political advice from Krauthammer and Rove is no longer a good thing?
Next up to be ‘McCain-ed’: Chris Christie
McAinal McQueeg is totally irrelevant with conservative republicans. He is only important to the gay rats, who control our media. These dregs of humanity, spend their semi sober hours in Gay hot tubs, writing bs about their hero while trying to make Ted Cruz look bad. In spite of their trash posing as journalism, we now have the totally irrelevant McAinal McQueeg and a stronger Ted Cruz.
Go away John. Even the ones that was holding your back are leaving. We don’t like you. You speak and it’s like blah, blah, blah. Go away. Just go away.
