I would be the first to admit that it’s hard to see Muslims arriving and setting up shop in Iceland. It’s the most expensive country in Europe, and just about everyone you meet on the street is going to be liberal in causes and virtues.
Now, all of that aside, the comical side of this is that there is believed to be....roughly 270-odd Muslims in all of Iceland. Whoever is financing this (the Saudis are the most likely)....will blow a million or two on this structure.
I'm sure Swedes, Danes, and Norwegians were saying the same thing 30 years ago.
Now those nations have major city streets that look like Mogadishu or Karachi, have sky-high urban rape rates, and regularly have their passports turn up on dead jihadists in war zones.
The government will pay their way, so it doesn't matter.
This is just the beginning. Start with one and end up with millions. I watched this happen in Norway in a very short time. All of Scandinavia is polluted.
Ha, and liberalism and the cost of living aren’t the only deterrents to Islam; there is also the country’s latitude. Iceland is just below the Arctic circle, so while they don’t get the midnight sun effect, it does not get completely dark at night in June and July. During the month of Ramadan, Moslems are not supposed to eat, drink or have sex while there is enough light to tell a white thread from a black one. So when Ramadan falls during the summer, as is the case now, proper observance of that holiday will be impossible.
