NBC announced today that it would be launching a week of programming to help Obamacare get off its feet, according to a press release sent out by the network. The law has been widely opposed by all Republicans and supported by most Democrats, including President Obama.
The headline of the press release reads:
NBC News Launches Ready or Not, the New Healthcare Law, a Multi-Screen Experience to Help Americans Get the Most Out of the Affordable Care Act
Dr. Nancy Snyderman Answers Most Pressing Questions Across Social and Via New Video Series #AskDrNancy
Interactive Tools and Resources Help Audience Navigate New Healthcare Benefits and Marketplaces
The NBC release says it will help explain how to enroll in Obamacare, a service no doubt to President Obama who has himself been barnstorming the country to try to boost enrollment in the program.
"The Affordable Care Act goes into effect on October 1st, but what does this mean for you and your family? During the week of September 30th, NBC News will devote special coverage across all of its platforms to 'Ready or Not, the New Healthcare Law,' an extensive series aimed at explaining the complexities of the ACA and its impact on consumers. Coverage will span multiple screens on air, across digital and through social media, and also provide users with interactive tools and resources, available on NBCNews.com/Healthcare, to help shed light on what the healthcare act means for them and explain how to enroll," reads the release.

Remember, its all fun and games until the first payment. Then all Hell breaks loose.

With the IRS having full unconditional access to debit any of your bank accounts ... and people being pushed into the high deductible plans due to price.
The only good shows on NBC were/are The Office and Jay Leno. Once Leno is gone, I see no reason to watch that network.
The LIVs still think it will be free.
Isn’t that something? They’re so good to us little people.
You know what, NBC? Screw you!
That’s awesome. I saw some Polish commie TV. An hour of Vietnamese people picking rice. One camera. One shot. One hour.
Your guess is as good as mine.
thanks Maelstorm.

Lets start that conversation by acknowledging we arent going to deport 12 million illegal immigrants... bringing these workers out of the shadows and into being taxpaying members of society. Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers.12 million more people assimilating into society. 12 million more people being productive contributors. [but hes not in favor of amnesty, snicker, definition of is is]
...by softening its edge on some volatile social issues and altering its image as the party always seemingly "eager to go to war... We do need to expand the party and grow the party and that does mean that we don't always all agree on every issue" ... the party needs to become more welcoming to individuals who disagree with basic Republican doctrine on emotional social issues such as gay marriage... "We're going to have to be a little hands off on some of these issues ... and get people into the party," Paul said.
And yet no conservative media figures will lead a boycott. Why? They will say it’s because they “don’t believe in boycotts.” The truth, though, is that they fear having the weapon turned on them.
Even the very best among them - Levin, Limbuagh, Hannity - don’t dare tread this ground. Shame.

Well unfortunately conservative media are very selective in how they lead and some have become more cautious. Rush, Savage, and Dr. Laura for example all suffered boycotts and all gave in to some extent. AFA has led some successful boycotts but you are right conservatives generally don’t make concerted efforts to shut the left down. The problem with that unwillingness to make leftists feel the pain while they will be relentless in shutting us down is that we have our voices suppressed because the only voice is pro left whether it is pro gay, pro environment, pro big govt, etc.
This will send their ratings even deeper into the crapper.
