LIVE Thread: Senate cloture vote. Guess the number of RINOs that vote to support "Dingy" Harry

Senate just came into session. Happily, Dingy Harry is sparing us any commentary early on this morning, as is McConnell. Debate goes until 12:10, at which time there is 30 minutes reserved for majority and minority leaders , then the vote. Will there be any more GOP intramural fireworks on the senate floor?

just called Casey - told his staff I know the direction the left is taking us, and that I’m probably pissing into a stiff wind by even bothering, but reminded him that he allegedly represents me, that I _do_ vote, every time, and politely asked that he oppose cloture.

Sen. Cruz to the American people:
“Senate democrats aren’t listening to you.”

That’s so funny, I called Casey’s office and said I know he’d follow Obama into Hell and he only represents Pennsylvania’s Democrats then politely asked him to defund Obamacare.
Great minds think alike :-)

Looks like a punk, just like he sounds like a punk.
We are so sick of these kids driving the nation into the ground.

>>>If youre correct, that means that the entire GOP senate leadership voted AGAINST the will of the caucus..
Yep. I also posted that those voting no, for the most part, will do so because of pressure. The yes votes will be those who are safe, or who don't have elections coming up.
Except Cornyn. I've given his office an earful. And I meant every word. I know MANY of my friends here in TX feel the same way. Some were the ones who talked me into voting for Romney...because he was better than the alternative.
Those friends are now EXTREMELY apologetic to me...have seen the errors of their ways...and vowed: NEVER AGAIN.

What a dolt - more “law of the land” stuff. “Stuff” because they say it (”law of the land”) but they don't mean it.
You are correct! A law of the land is a law that applies to all. President, Congress-critters, and wealthy industrialist, and poor working men and middle class families alike. Any law with waivers attached is no law of the land.
