I hope that our elected officials will start to pour their efforts and energy towards legislation that is pragmatic. This showmanship and posturing from the junior senator from Texas is ill conceived and ultimately detrimental to the Republican party. Ted Cruz does not care about Obamacare, it does not affect him. He cares about advancing his political career, and he seized the opportunity. Can we really blame him?

Writing this was a pointless waste of time. Post it here even more so.

Ted Cruz does not care about Obamacare, it does not affect him. He cares about advancing his political career, Fallacy of the false alternative. It does not have to be one or the other. He could be killing two birds with one stone: caring about killing government control of medicine and advancing his career, both at the same time.

I like to see these enemy blogs remain on the board for a while before they get zotted.
Where else can we have so much fun? Where else can we sharpen our weapons of rapiers, stilettos and sledge hammers? How often do we get a splendid opportunity to reply to such ripe, succulent pinatas right before our very eyes?
No, we should not be so quick to scream for "ZOTS". We should welcome these rare opportunities which are dropped right into our laps so we can practice our satire, irony, punnery, poetical, sarcasm, ridicule and graphic/artistic skills on a perfect liberal sitting duck.
Consider the occasional enemy-mole post to be basic boot training for all FR present and future offense/defense game-plans.
Hoo-Yah! To the Barricades!

Since this guy started posting in 2010 he hasn’t responded to anyone. Actually he responded twice to Humble about excerpting but never to anything else.

I love it now that pundits can read minds!
And read minds. How do they know what is best of the Republican party? And why would they tell us if they did? Rush is right on on this one; the republicans need to quit listening to the enemy for strategic advise. This is evidence that what Cruz did is right on target. Now is the time for them to continue to Seize the initiative and attack. Instead like McLame they all want to retreat and surrender.

Actually he responded twice to Humble about excerpting but never to anything else. Poor bastard seems to have had a negative experience with Free Republic.

So good you had to post it twice?
To: humblegunner
Well, at least you didn’t excerpt it.
To: humblegunner
So good you had to post it twice? As in, "the Yankees are out of the playoffs this year."
It sounds just as good the next time you hear it.

Where else can we sharpen our weapons of rapiers, stilettos and sledge hammers? If you've got a sharp sledgehammer, remind me never to get you angry. :)
To: humblegunner
It was worth 2 posts. I laughed when I saw his posting history and that you’d called him on being a blog pimp before.

Drop dead jerk. Pragmatism is for spineless cowards. If they practiced it in 1776 we’d still be British subjects you moron.
