Hannity’s Had It: ..... (Savage Replaces Karl Rove's Co-Host)
Mediaite ^ | 9-25-2013 | Noah Rothman

Sources close to conservative television and radio host Sean Hannity tell Mediaite that last night’s “prediction” by conservative radio host Michael Savage — that he would be inheriting Hannity’s broadcast slot on Cumulus-owned stations in the coming weeks — comes two weeks too late. Sources say that Hannity wants out of his contract with Cumulus and, in particular, his professional relationship with Cumulus CEO Lew Dickey. In fact, he made the decision to move on some time ago.

Hannity may not be perfect but Savage is a retard that caters to the wackadoo wing of conservatives.

Hannity is better suited for TV. He is simply not radio material.

I agree. He’s not conservative. Another RINO dipsh#t that supports the likes of Rudy Giuliani and runs down true defenders of freedom.

Savage knows a little about a lot. Just enough to cause trouble, but never enough to resolve it. I’m never in favor of someone who knows how to cause trouble but not fix it. Hannity is a Rottweiler— tough— but we need somebody smart who can target the light beer crowd in the GOP congressional delegation and force a few shots of Jack straight, no chaser, down their throats. Hannity has done one too many soft interviews with the likes of John McCain, Karl Rove and other DC poodles.

We need someone smart, tough, procedurally savvy and committed to dragging the loser ranks of the GOP and Dems in swing districts through the dirt in the midterms. I want copies of their credit reports read on the air. I want copies of their campaign finance reports read on the air. I want them ridiculed for their hypocritical voting record and interviews done with prominent conservatives in their districts on the air. We need someone with a “no prisoners” attitude. Maybe we don’t make it, but neither will the weasel ranks of the GOP. And they need to understand that.

Oh, come on Drango, Savage listeners are not the wackadoo wing of conservatives. Some of us just got tired of listening to the moonbats getting time on Hanity.

Wackadoo, yes. Conservative? Well, occasionally.

I tend to think of his as more of a restaurant critic than anything else, though. Sean is a lightweight, but he's a lot more of a mainstream conservative than Mr. Herbal Remedies.

Savage was fun in the nineties, but he’s no Art Bell.

Well, he says he made that decision some time ago. Maybe. Savage is a lot smarter than Hannity. Also a lot flakier, alas.

Hannity always impressed me as just not smart. He says and insists on things that just don’t go. He does not understand the Constitution even though he is usually in the same ball park, even if he does not know what base he is on.

I’’m with you. If I’m at home, I now turn the radio off when Hannity comes on. I’ll listen if I’m in the car. Savage is no longer on our local station, but it was at the point that any radio was turned off immediately when he came on.

Heard Hannity the other day and he said his radio show will be on more stations. . . not as many in the delayed time slot. He also said he will be taking Greta’s time slot and she will be on at 7:00. His studio will be located closer to his home so that he can spend more time with his family. (Not sure I got all the info 100% correct, but it’s close.)
