Gen. Cartwright is one of the best Strategic leaders this country has had in the last decade.

He matched America’s defense needs with policy and program support, including development programs.

I rather suspect he has been unfairly targeted for political reasons.

I wonder what the General really did to piss off Valerie.

Called her "Ma'am"?

Cartwright was commissioned a second lieutenant in the Marines in 1971 and retires as a General (Four Stars) in 2011. But somehow, in that Forty Years in the Corps, that Marine never saw a single day of combat or fired a shot in anger...huh? As if we didn't have any hostile action going on anywhere in the world in those 40 years that Marine Cartwright could or should have been involved? (shaking head in disbelief)

But conversely, during those same 40 years, Cartwright the Marine lifer, had plenty of time and opportunity -- which he took -- to champion the complete Nuclear Disarmament of the United States of America, aaaand in his spare time spilled the beans about a Top Secret of an ally of the USA.
(these are the actions of a U.S. Marine? Forget General, just Marine! I don't think so)

No wonder he was the "Favorite General" of Barry The Pansy President and Coward-In-Chief.

(And Cartwright doesn't seem to have any weapons qualification badges? Even the illustrious John Fricken KERRY has those.)

He turned 64 on Sunday, which means that he is 12 days younger than Bill O’Reilly. The Bloviator is 12 days older than the Aviator.

Agreed. I looked up his bio. No war in theater experience although he was a jet jockey on F-4s and F-18s. I was surprised when I reviewed his medals and service awards.

No wonder he is Obismals favorite general.A four star leaker! He belongs in the same hide as Leaky Leahy ( Senator).

Exactly, even the Army 'perfumed prince' Gen's you see on TV, like testifying before congress now :-), have their uniform full with Combat awards of some kind from some theater, and weapons badges too.

But Barry's Favorite General nada. The minimum you'd see on someone who 'skated' through 40 years of service. It just doesn't 'look right', that something is off somehow?

Oba-me has ordered the general to be burned at the stake after his summary court martial before the commander.

No way Clinton would have passed a security check either.

These elected pathological liars also have their fingers on the button to launch the bombers for nuclear war. Chilling!

So the Commander-in-Cheat threw his pet retired general under the jeep. These liberal military big shots always think loyalty is a two-way street in their progressive circles, hah.

Right now, there are also some active perfumed princes serving on the Joint Chiefs of Staph who are always stroking Obama's brass apple......one or more will someday suffer the same fate when a lot of varied administration things will be exposed, you can make book on it.

Petraeus and Lerner probably thought they'd be safe forever.

Condor51 gets the Hat Tip Of The Day.

How can a Marine officer with 40 years time in service NOT get deployed even ONCE??

That’s what the general gets for kissing Obama’s *ss. He curried favor and moved on up, now he’s finding out what it’s like to move on down. You fly too close to the sun, your wings get burnt.

Another breezy USSR-style article where what we read is ten percent of the real story and less than that of the truth.
