As Michael Medved pointed out 2 weeks ago, this was all for show. Anyone who told you they could "De-Fund" ObamaCare when the GOP does not control the Senate or the White House was lying to you.

Um, no one but God knows how this will actually turn out. But hey, if you’re that deeply committed to your belief that Ted is a fraud (that is what you are saying), it would be helpful if you would provide evidence from his past behavior that he is being false with us. Then the house should reject what the senate sends back to them and instead begin sending clean bills to fund each essential department one at a time, with none of them having funds for obamacare, and those departments charged with implementing obamacare funded last, ie, HHS, IRS, etc., and cut those by a sufficient amount that they cannot possibly implement it. If the House does not fund it, it cannot be funded and the senate can pound sand. If it takes all year, that’s fine. The people will elect a new Republican controlled senate in Nov 2014.
