Cruz mentioned to Reid during the filibuster to let the vote go thru...quickly...by unanimous consent....Reid refused of course...he wasn’t about to give anything to Cruz.

It is interesting to think that if it had been a Democrat doing the same thing Ted Cruz just did, for whatever purpose they had (and probably it WOULD be nefarious then), the naysayers would be praising them today.

Not just hypocritical, but truly ignorant in their hypocrisy.

Yes, Ted Cruz just lit up that beacon on the hill a lot brighter today. I had not lost hope in this country and turning things around...because I know God still has his hand in this. But Ted’s stance just inflames my hopes more.

Coats cannot think outside the box. He refuses to be a warrior for this cause. What does he think will happen with obamacare coming on line? Will people not be harmed, will people not die? He would have stood with the British not the Patriots were he alive at the birth of our country.

Hey N, was up till 2:30 or so watching this drama, then up at 6 to see our great Senator Cruz standing tall against the snakes, rats, and Vichy republicrats! Isn’t Cruz awesome? He and Mike Lee are the only ones that deserve the ‘Honorable’ title! So proud of him!

Same here. I left the T.V. on all night and awoke to see Cruz still speaking. How refreshing.

WOW, Dan Coats is truly disappointing. He didn’t show up last night because he would only be allowed to ask questions, not be able to discuss his points like today. He did watch a bit, though...whooptedoo, Dan.

Now he’s proposing introducing a one year delay in the individual mandate.

LOL, after surrendering to the democrats and saying the country can’t handle another shutdown, he’s laid his cards on the table. His bid is useless. They’ll ignore this “suggestion”.
