Since just before the start of the 21st century, the Earth's average global surface temperature has failed to rise despite soaring levels of heat-trapping greenhouse gases and years of dire warnings from environmental advocates.
Now, as scientists with the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change gather in Sweden this week to approve portions of the IPCC's fifth assessment report, they are finding themselves pressured to explain this glaring discrepancy.
...
A draft summary that was leaked to the media reported that scientists were "95% confident" that human activity was responsible for more than half of the increase in average global surface temperature between 1951 and 2010. But critics openly scoff, considering the IPCC's poor record for predicting short-term temperature increases.
"This unpredicted hiatus just reflects the fact that we don't understand things as well as we thought," said Roger Pielke Jr., a professor of environmental studies at the University of Colorado in Boulder and vocal critic of the climate change establishment. "Now the IPCC finds itself in a position that a science group never wants to be in. It's in spin management mode."

Ah, doubt surfaces even on the West Coast!
Nah. Just the expected results from the warming that stopped 15 to 20 years ago. The warming is just on vacation. Be back soon. Trust us. We know what we’re doing.
The word “hiatus” is tendentious. No one knows if this is a pause in the rise or if global temperatures are on the verge of falling.
Hopefully professor Pielke has armed security being he's in Boulder, CO.

“But that doesn’t mean you should stop subsidizing those of us who have been in the trenches spouting the party line in the face of overwhelming contrary evidence,” he continued. “I mean, where is the loyalty and control? We have thousands of scientists who turned their back on their morals and methodologies and hundreds of countries expecting to use this to control people.
“This is all about standards, not science” he concluded.
Our mulatto messiah said he would halt the rising seas didn’t he? The polar bears are spared now.

Send us more trilions of dollars.

Last week the Seattle Times had a huge spread on “Ocean Acidification”. This is there fall back scare. The oceans are dying. Never mind that the evidence is every bit as dubious as that used for the global warming scam. First problem... the ocean,s are not acidic they are basic. This new scam really ought to be called Ocean Less Basification. Yes, it’s true one day the just a few centuries from now... oceans may be as neutral as fresh water. Actually though, there currently is no credible evidence that the oceans are becoming any less less basic.
They figured this out; it’s been “climate change” for awhile now.
Climate change covers anything and everything. 2 degrees colder than the average for 4 days in the spring; its due to climate change. 3 degrees warmer than normal in January for 4 days; it’s climate change.
The solution is always the same. Get rid of private ownership of vehicles and raise taxes and take away freedoms.
No real scientists believe in this stuff.
All you F’ing deniers deserve to roast in hell for wishing it upon your children!
