TALLAHASSEE -- Florida Gov. Rick Scott says the state will pull out of a national test for school children to see if they are reaching standards in certain subjects.

Scott on Monday called for Education Commissioner Pam Stewart and other state officials to take steps related to the ongoing controversy surrounding the new Common Core State Standards.

Those include holding public hearings and possibly altering the standards.

Rick Scott is playing a political game with this announcement since he hasn’t scrapped Common Core, he just wants to talk about changing some of it.

RINO’s love to “talk” but they take no meaningful action to stop things like Obamacare or Common Core.

Scott is up for re-election next year and needs to fake to the right since he already signed onto Medicaid expansion under Obamacare.

The very concept should be mocked, derided, undermined, and ultimately eliminated.

Liberals tout the 'diversity' of a nation of 320 million with nearly every possible permutation of genetics, topography, weather, culture, leisure pursuits, industry, etc. etc. and these same liberals turn around and declare that this infinitely diverse mix should all bow and scrape before a standard emanating from the DC swamp after being cobbled together by - wait for it - more liberals.

Too many cooks spoiling the soup and too many of them manipulating the recipe. It's no wonder nobody is satisfied.

Many people are not aware that the new common core curriculum (national) utilizes ipad technology for the kids. (see link below) and the link between technology and converting to Islam and the caliphate (last 2 links).

Did you catch Huckabee’s show over the weekend? He had a guest (Kyle Olson) on that explained to Huckabee, who was one of the initiating governors, that although it started out as a good idea, it has morphed into a federal program funded by the stimulus, that combined with the database should be dismantled, replaced by state standards.
