A lengthy profile on Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) in the October issue of GQ may compound his already-contentious relationship with Sen. John McCain (R-AZ).
In the piece by Jason Zengerle, an unnamed adviser to McCain explained the Arizona senator's aversion to Cruz.
"He [word beginning with "f"] hates Cruz," the adviser told Zengerle. "He's just offended by his style."
But Cruz made it clear that he's no fan of McCain either....
A little bit of study, and he can be the next Arlen Specter.
I wonder if Sarah has read this and if so, what she now thinks of her “hero” Juan? She helped put Ted in the Senate and here McCain goes and disses him. What a quandary! It sure wouldn’t be for me.
Indeed. McCain loves the maverick monicker, and it gets him all the face time on cable news and the Sunday shows. And the media loves him as long as he's stabbing other GOPers in the back politically. He learned nothing from their turning on him once he became the party nominee in 2008.
Along comes Cruz, a true font color=red>maverick fighting TPTB in his own party as well as the dems and the MSM, and Johnny-boy is so jealous. And he's getting all the ink and air time!
That picture brings a four-letter to mind, starts with ‘c’ and ends with ‘t’....
That’s OK...I’m offended by TRAITORS like McCain....
Cruz has been standing up for America and speaking out in the interests of Americans.
McCain has been standing up for Obama, foreign interests such as the Muslim Brotherhood and thethe terrorists they control (who poison gas women and childern and behead little christian girls) and who speaks for America’s enemies -foreign and domestic to the detriment of our country.
I’ll take Cruz any day.
He defines the seriouness of the conflict we face while guys like McCain seem to wish to facilitate and enable the efforts of those who seek to undermine our country.
McCain’s judgement was revealed in his years as a Navy pilot.
On March 12, 1960, McCain crashed his AD-6 Skyraider trainer into Corpus Christi Bay because he failed to maintain an airspeed above the stall speed. This was attributed to pilot error.
In November, 1960 McCain crashed his T-2 trainer due to engine “flame out.” McCain bailed out of his aircraft over the ocean.
In December 1961, McCain had another incident with a Skyraider, described in his autobiography: I knocked down some power lines while flying too low over southern Spain. My daredevil clowning had cut off electricity to a great many Spanish homes and created a small international incident.
On July 29, 1967 McCain, as a joke to the F-4 Phantom pilot behind him, “wet started” his A-4 which started the chain reaction fire aboard the USS Forrestal. The fire almost sunk the Forestal, killed 134 sailors and injured 161. Three months later, he was shot down during a bombing mission over Hanoi and taken prisoner. McCain was flying at 3,000 feet when the recommended altitude was between 4,000 to 10,000 feet in heavy surface-to-air missile environments.
Michael L. Barr, an internationally known aviation safety expert who teaches in USC’s Aviation Safety and Security Program, said, “After the third accident, you would say: Is there a trend here in terms of his flying skills and his
judgment?”
“In his military career, he was a risk-taker and a daredevil,” said John Karaagac, a lecturer at Johns Hopkins’ School of Advanced International Studies and the author of a book on McCain.
McCain’s commanders sarcastically dubbed him “Ace McCain.”
John McCain is obviously devoted to his children. All his waking hours seem to be spent trying make Meghan McCain look smarter than he is. Setting the bar that low is obviously exhausting work. They should, like, take a very lengthy vacation to Libya to recuperate.
McLame would better spend his time hating dumBO.
Lost in all this is the fact that the GQ article linked to was really kind of a snarky slap at Cruz. It took more shots than gave praise.
“McCain Hates Cruz”
I’d take that as a positive thing!
(Better than being his pet poodle like Miz Linseed!)
Then I like Cruz. Got it PUTZ!
How about We The People expressing their thoughts on Juan the spineless, gutless RINO?
Not so dear john,
Not nearly as much as WE despise yyou. Trust me.
McCain said that? Oh mercy me, whatever shall we do?
John, you’re irrelevant now. Time for you to move on.
Of course Jihad Johnny hates Cruz. He hates all things American.
Hanoi John McQaeda.....no surprise here.
What an evil spiteful America Hating SO....
Someone on the other side must be paying/bribing McCain. He is liberal thru and thru. He’s been in Congress way too long.
