Aide Says McCain '[edited] Hates Cruz'

A lengthy profile on Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) in the October issue of GQ may compound his already-contentious relationship with Sen. John McCain (R-AZ).

In the piece by Jason Zengerle, an unnamed adviser to McCain explained the Arizona senator's aversion to Cruz.

"He [word beginning with "f"] hates Cruz," the adviser told Zengerle. "He's just offended by his style."

But Cruz made it clear that he's no fan of McCain either....

2012 for President was still bad. We felt pretty good about the new generation of House and Senate members. 2010 was the rise of the conservative base, and while tempered by the party bosses in 2012 many of us still had things to vote FOR. If I was in Texas, for example, I would have been pretty excited about casting that vote for Cruz.
