I really can’t wait for Karl Rove and his gutless statist republic*nts to get their a$$es swept out of office or whatever other position they may hold.
The GOP hasn’t done diddly squat, and I, for one, cannot wait to vote them out.
What a disgusting bunch of horrible people.
[For years he has been advising the Republicans to draw the defensive line for the final apocalyptic battle just a little behind the current location, only to advise abandoning that line once the Dems get into sight. If Rove was French he would have surrendered Vichy before the Germans even asked for it.]
Ain’t it the truth. And funny too.
and I should listen to the GOP’s Biggest Loser, exactly why,Karl?
You and Reibus should go on a vacation.
And stay there.
Notice how quickly and stridently Obama has gone on the offense in defense of his turf.
He is not choosing his words or taking positions with the thought of “not offending” anyone.
He is calling House Repubs Extortionists/Criminals.
Be careful Repubs...don’t dare say anything controversial or combative against our Affirmative Action PO(TU)S.
You might offend some black people or other weak minded low information voter.
Then again...maybe now is the time to actually articulate and contrast the difference between a Marxist-BIG GOVERNMENT philosophy vs a FREE MARKET and INDIVIDUAL LIBERY. How about Self Reliance vs Poverty and Dispair of a Govt Welfare system?
Get passionate and Fight!
How do we contact Fox News to get Rove off as well as Juan Williams and Bob Beckel; three irrelevant mouth pieces, IMO.
There is, however, one issue on which independents disagree with Republicans: using the threat of a government shutdown to defund ObamaCare. He uses the Democrat/Elitist formulation, suggesting R's are threatening a shut down, instead of the reality that the Senate / Obama will cause the shut down and are threating one.
Constiutionally, the people's house originates spending and Congress controls the popwer of the purse. Congress writes the laws and the executive administers the laws written by Congress.
It's all in the spin, and the Republicans have the Constitutional upper hand.
The real galling formulation is the cannard about the Rs "controlling 1/2 of 1/3 of the government." In reality and Constitutionally, the R's control 1/2 of the lawmaking organ of government and therefore have an effective veto that is equal to the Senate. The Supreme Court is entirely irrelevant in the lawmaking process and the President and Presidency (especially this Constitutionally-unmoored bastardized-sad-excuse-of-a-chief-executive) needs to be put back into its Constitutional box.
Hey karl... the only two National Elections that you ever won were by the hair on your arse. Every other campaign that you have worked on since has ended up with you having your arse handed to you. Drink a big old cup of STFU karl!
Our people look for a cause to believe in. Is it a third party we need, or is it a new and revitalized second party, raising a banner of no pale pastels, but bold colors which make it unmistakably clear where we stand on all of the issues troubling the people?
Wellington: We hold the crest of the hill and the advancing French are battle weary. What do you recommend Karl?
Rove: We should get the hell out of here and on a boat for London where we can sip tea in safety.
Wellington: Why do you say that?
Rove: There is no way we can beat Napoleon and we may as well enjoy the tea before he conquers England.
Wellington: Hmmm, are you sure you are on our side?
I have come to the conclusion that Rove is just not that bright. In addition, he reminds me of that kid in high school who was always chasing popularity, doing what he thought everyone wanted him to do taht made him look cool. In Karl’s case, he thinks that is chasing the “moderates” and tuning into what they want to hear. He doesn’t get that undecideds and “moderates” are only that way until you persuade them to your side. That will never get accomplished so long as the Republican Party refuses to stand up for principles using any and every means it has it is disposal.
I mean, if they can’t stand up to the most unpopular piece of legislation in recent memory, when in Karl’s mind should they take a stand? Ever!?!?
Quote: “After Mitt Romneys defeat and losing 11 of 13 Senate races it spent money on in 2012, big donors are less willing to pony up.”
But that is the fault of those kook conservatives, don’t cha know.
Karl the Coward refuses to leave DC and listen to The People.
Sending surveys to people who donated to Crossroads proves he is only interested in staying in power.
Those days ended in 2010.
isn’t it about time we dropped a mandate on FOX to rid us of Karl?
They're not threatening to shut down the government.
They are going to pay the nation's bills. They ARE funding the government, and they're paying every old bill. They're just not going to pay for a new bill that hasn't started yet.
They've found out that the new expense we took on is far larger than it was originally thought. It is so large it will break the economy.
So, rather than go ahead with something they already know is broken, they're just not going to let it get started.
Old bills will be paid for; this new bill will not.
Rove is the establishment and is out of touch and should in every way be out of influence IMO.
The real message, the real truth: https://twitter.com/sentedcruz/status/380718147193421824
From the King of Self-Defeat, we get advice on self-defeating.
Rove is an attention whore. Narcissist in competition with the liberal left.
