Raising the debt ceiling doesn't increase the nation's debt, Pres. Obama declared in a speech today...
Obama dismissed concerns about raising the debt ceiling by noting that it'd been done so many times in the past:
...
Obama went on to suggest that "the average person" mistakenly thinks that raising the debt ceiling means the U.S. is racking up more debt:

The dude just needs to wear a sign that says, “LIAR” and that’s all you need to know.
Obama apparently knows about as much about economic policy as he knows about foreign policy.
on drugs, only explanation
“Obama went on to suggest that “the average person” mistakenly thinks that raising the debt ceiling means the U.S. is racking up more debt...”
Well, duh! Silly me?
I think BHO2 is either a liar, delusional, or both.
He has the economic sense of a third grader
*WARNING*
THIS IS *NOT* SATIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm sure that the kneepad media will point out the problems with Obama's assertion, immediately.
OK, maybe tomorrow.
Friday night, when no one is paying attention?
Next week?
Bueller?
Budgets don't exist.
Pass a balanced budget, you idiots.
“I think BHO2 is either a liar, delusional, or both.”
Obama KNOWS his target audience is:
A)STOOPID
B)Doesn’t really pay attention
He KNOWS no one in the Mainstream Media will dare to call him out on it. unless they want to be branded a racist, and have their careers ended.
I know longer wonder how an educated people like the Germans fell in to Nazism.

Hey! This is fun! Maybe I, too, can be a Democrat affirmative-action pResident!
Absolute truth.
Raising the debt ceiling does not raise the debt in and of itself.
What it does do is make it possible for politicians to to increase the national debt.
That is the same thing as increasing the debt.
Politicians and debt are like male dogs and their balls.- because they can.
It is and it isn’t.
Wasn’t that how things worked in Atlas Shrugged...or attempted to work anyway?
Do you suppose he and the Mrs. have paid off their debts? Anyone remember her talking about how they had debt, college loans, etc., when first married?
The fact that we are here today to debate raising Americas debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. government cant pay its own bills. ... I therefore intend to oppose the effort to increase Americas debt limit.

“Over the past five years, our federal debt has increased by $3.5 trillion to $8.6 trillion. That is ‘trillion’ with a ‘T’. That is money that we have borrowed from the Social Security trust fund, borrowed from China and Japan, borrowed from American taxpayers.

President Barack Obama on Thursday framed his opposition as a Senator to raising the nations debt ceiling as a political vote and said he is coming at the issue from a different approach as commander in chief.
That was just an example of a new Senator, you know, making what is a political vote, as opposed to doing what was important for the country. And Im the first one to acknowledge it, Obama told ABCs George Stephanopoulos, according to a transcript of the interview.
I must’ve have missed his public apology to President Bush then. It certainly isn’t in his above remark.
Didn’t Obama have some Chicago power broker sign for his home?
