Scarborough: MSNBC Would Be 'Killing' W For Partisan Speech Like Obama's on Shooting Day

Imagine that George W. Bush had decided to proceed with a harsh, partisan speech attacking Democrats for "hurting people," despite a scene of mass murder unfolding just 3.5 miles away. On today's Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough imagined just such a scenario, and came to the inescapable conclusion: his own MSNBC network and the MSM at large would be "killing" W for his insensitivity and poor judgment.
Panelist John Heilemann of New York magazine grudgingly agreed that Scarborough's assessement was "kinda fair." But Mika Brzezinski empathized with our poor president: he was in a "horrible position."

Why would Obama NOT celebrate these Atrocities, too???
Did he go after the COLE terrorists? (no, let them go).
Did he go after the Boston Terrorists? (no, he let them in without passport).
Did he go after the terrorists in Guantanamo? (no, he let them go).
Did he close the borders? (no he let the felons go free).

Bowbama should have just cancelled the speech. All he did was repeat “worst economy...blah, blah”. Friggin’ idiot!
To: governsleastgovernsbest
Bush would have been excoriated by the entire state-run media for such a partisan speech, even if there hadn't been a mass murder in progress at the time.

The next 3-1/2 years will not be kind to this clown in the White House. And the postmortem on America’s idiocy will be even more stark.

“Yet another mass push for gun control.” No real “details” will be released until the “details” fit the agenda. Prayers up to the victims. Prayers up to law abiding citizens who, yet again, will be faced with condemnation for holding true to their rights under the constitution. Meanwhile, the death toll continues to rise in chitown. crickets! Not a problem apparently. Lucky for us that d.c. and chitown have some of the strictest infringement laws to prevent this carnage.

I love it. "GOP willing to tank the economy". What crass demagogues these creatures are.
Got news for ya, kids -- it doesn't matter if the GOP wanted to 'tank the economy'. The Messiah and his Marxist cadre already beat them to it.

Using the same criteria that called W a chimp, one would be calling Obama a baboon and subhuman.

The GOP and conservative groups ought to use Obama’s words here against him, making it clear that it is Obama threatening to try to tank the economy one way or another—by implementing Obamacare or by vetoing a budget that doesn’t fund it.
It is Obama threatening to hold the government up if he doesn’t get his way on “just one issue” and some hard-hitting ads would make that clear.

Given Scarborough any praise for this is disingenuous at best. For one thing it's one tepid response out of at least a dozen liberal talking heads who are still covering for Obama and Barkys not up for re-election. A lame duck is a safe target.

This is beyond the W verses Ocraphead argument. This guy just got his behind kicked on the international stage. As predicted, this is the fallout....he will begin terrorizing anew the US. He has to show his draconian side to his media and fawning acolytes. Somehow he will make what happened with him and Syria a republican inspired event. He could not hold back that speech yesterday anymore than one can hold back the dawn. He probably has been stewing for almost a week and was set to turn the page, predictable. Worse, this is not the end of it.
