CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) An unarmed man seeking help after a car crash over the weekend was shot 10 times by the Charlotte police officer who's now charged in his death, investigators said Monday. A police news release said Officer Randall Kerrick fired 12 times at 24-year-old Jonathan A. Ferrell early Saturday while responding to a breaking and entering call. Ten of the bullets hit the former Florida A&M University football player. Kerrick was charged with voluntary manslaughter and is scheduled for a first court appearance on Tuesday.

Given the recent nationwide rash of assaults and murders of whites by black youths, anyone employing deadly force on an approaching black youth is responding reasonably.
A reasonable jury will acquit the officers of all charges, simply based on the overwhelming evidence of these recent assaults and murders by black youths playing this knock-out game.
Thus should it be for the next century or so.
Ten hits? How many of them were after he was down?
Why do they always pop off so many caps? People we trust to be police officers need to have better judgment and less fear.
Why didnt he call 911 on his own phone? High on drug and avoiding cops?
Then, 3 cops were responding to a reported breaking and entering in the middle of the night...

From earlier postings on Monday, the guy did nothing but knock on a door after having an auto accident and the hysterical (idiot) woman inside called 911 saying something like a person was breaking into her house.
The guy was most likely just wanting someone to call the PD because he’d just had an accident.
Many other FReepers to earlier postings stated they didn’t have a cell phone. I’ve never had one and never will.
The number of cop apologists on this thread is simply appalling. If this guy was such a threat why is it that out of the several cops there the shooter was the only one to fire? Seems to me the other cops didn't think the vic was much of a threat. BTW, I never carry a cell phone either. Maybe I should start if I want to live if I happen to have a traffic accident.
