Saturday marks Yom Kippur, the holiest day on the Jewish calendar and, this year, the 40th anniversary of the outbreak of the Yom Kippur War, the greatest trauma in Israeli history.

On the morning of October 6, 1973—the day on which Yom Kippur fell that year—Chief of Staff David Elazar met with Prime Minister Golda Meir and Defense Minister Moshe Dayan to warn that the Egyptian and Syrian armies were about to attack Israel. Elazar urged a preemptive strike; six years earlier, in the Six-Day War, Israel’s preemptive strike had proved highly effective.

But Meir and Dayan, who were under heavy pressure from U.S. secretary of state Henry Kissinger not to preempt, overruled the chief of staff. The result was near-catastrophic as later that day the Egyptian and Syrian armies attacked first and took battlefield advantages while inflicting heavy casualties.

So very sad IMO. WE, and Israel herself were all there was between Israel’s existance, and oblivion, but today thanks to the idiocy of the American populace we threw away our standing as the protectors of Free peoples around the World.

WE shouldn’t be the World’s police, but we could stand for, and influence the same GOD given rights for our allies as for ourselves. I think that was as it should be, but no more with this crowd in charge.

Their goals are towards their perception of a New World Order with them in charge. There’s no place for individualism, freedom, God in that New World Order they are hastening to establish.

Here’s a photo of the big prefab pontoon bridge Israel had engineered and built a few years earlier, then stashed in the Sinai, just in case an offensive across the Canal was ever needed — and whaddayaknow, turned out that it was; I believe the IDF also captured at least one of the Egyptian bridges and used that as well:

What’s horrible is that Christians and other minorities are being slaughtered in those countries where the US finagled to get dictators toppled. If Assad, Putin, and their armies will protect the Christian villages why should I be opposed to that?

So, Israel is faced with making a play or folding, if Israel’s assessment is that -— in particular -— the Obama Regime is as fake as its courtiers.

“The east” just figured that out, but Israel might make a special effort to re-examine things “just one more time,” before daring to try to save itself from the nuclear weapons of the muslim “brotherhood.”

Economic pressures on Germany, have everything to do, with what Israel decides.

Because Israel no longer has the backing of the U.S. Government when the aforementioned, wobbly socialists reign by “words, words, words ... nothing but words.”

Germany matters, because it relies upon sales to several countries that will reduce imports, possibly, should Germany reach some moral limitation on how much suffering Germany can stomach ... as Israel is forced into ... dust?

While everywhere, the Axis of Terrorism aka Islamic Jihad aka “Muslim Brotherhood” and particularly one of their hosts: the Pakistani ISI -— who brought to us, their attacks upon the U.S. on Sept. 11, 2001 -— are maneuvering to overtake and crush *freedom of religion.*

About which, it’s not easy to find a “progressive” who cares and continues to practice PRIDE of EGO that tolerates the terror which can be found in hundreds of news articles revealing how some fanatic of Islam:

- just killed their daughter
- just forced their daughter to be “circumsized”
- just stoned somebody to death for turning to Jesus for help
- just beheaded somebody who would not submit to fascist-Islam
- just shot some woman in a sports arena in front of packed seats

To wit: a male follower of Islamic Jihad, is a power-hungry, power-mongering, xenophobic coward who gets a rush *putting down somebody else* just like a NAZI.

Much like one of the aforementioned socialists, above.

Some shelter from which, “sort of,” Israel found in the U.S.A. until last week, when The Hero of the Collective Obama Regime attempted to start a war in the wrong direction but with plenty of ego.

Now, Israel will have an even tougher time, trying to *reasonably* decipher the words from the Obama Regime, in the hopes that Israel’s previously stalwart friend, The United States of America, is still there?

I’ll make that simple:

In the hearts of many Christians and actual Jews, in which the United States of America still exists, the answer is, We support you.

But we can’t speak for our country, as President Reagan once did for us.
