I work in a hospital in Texas and I just can’t figure out why so many nurses and people seem to believe the affordable care act as they like to call it is gonna be just fine once the kinks are worked out. I guess its a normalcy bias and a democrat bent. I’m not saying all these people are useful idiots because they are not all brain dead or stupid but maybe they are useful idiots in this sphere of life. Mostly women and guys who lean democrat. Now the doctors that support it - useful idiots.
NO!
Everyone of these pieces of human flesh, opened their own mouths, and with their own hands, fed themselves of the Communist indoctrination, without even once, checking by witnesses of two or three.
They, not I, did not bother to educate themselves, as responsible citizens should do, nor did they bother to ask the question, “Is this really good for the future of the country?”
They, in their selfish, self-indulgence and greed, without batting an eyelash of what might befall their own descendants, charged head-long into this matter, blindly, and therefore, are still attempting to drag the rest of us, the responsible citizens, down to the Abyss with them.
They, are as much, now Communists, as all the people of Germany became Nazis, as of the time of the election of Adolph Hitler, even before the national pledges were enforced.
This nation is not, and can not be, a Communist nation.
Therefore, YOU figure out the solution, at hand, for the sake of the future of this nation, and the future of the dirtiest word to Communism: FREEDOM.
I have a question. When it becomes obvious, after it’s implemented, that obamacare is a complete disaster, first, the libs will blame the GOP, and then they’ll claim that the only solution is single-payer. They´ll probably say that medicare should be expanded to cover everyone.
If this happens, could this be done administratively by the executive branch or via an executive order or would Congress have to write a new law?
Communism was never the goal, imho. It has always been the Royals bringing back Serfdom. Communism was just a way of getting the stupid masses to place the yoke on themselves.
Excellent summary.
No.
That’s like feeling sorry for the herpes virus.
Sorry. While I agree with you 100%, that is NOT a problem for nobama. The ONLY problem he has is that the US is not transitioning quickly enough towards being a turd-world society with him a DICK-tator for life.
I’ve got stock in crying towels. Ahhhh, capitalism.
I don’t feel sorry for people trying to kill me.
Thanks to Daniel J. Mitchell for the UK horror story links at the end of his article.
DEFUND/DISMANTLE FORCED totalitarian systems in this "free" republic.
live - free - republic
This evolution of complete government take-over of health care to be run by an insulated, unaccountable political class and its incompetent, anti-freedom bureaucracy. I agree that the ultimate goal is to single payer. However, he effect will be not only to destroy the best health care system (despite its current problems /distortions) but worse, to destroy individual liberty, and therefore freedom from the average American’s experience/mind. My opinion is that Obamacare is really about the acquisition and maintaining yet another enduring centralized power over people’s lives by the “intelligent few”, and not a conscious effort to destroy a health care system.
The Republican leadership is so inept and appear to becoming enablers of this fiasco, our loss of individual freedoms and to be shackled even more as subjects of the state. The Demo talking points to isolate the Tea party and bring the Rockefeller Republicans around is to use the compliant Press and paint Repubs as obstructionists who have no plan, want to shut the government down.
There are so many ways to seize this issue. The first is to repeat over ad nauseam that this is what one get when a government that is supposed to represent the people passes a 100% partisan, ghost written, secret 2000 page bill that no Congressjack*ss read. They want the “help” of the Republicans now only because Repub (supposedly) control the House and it is no longer a slam dunk. Except the Founders of this country knew that divided government was the only way a free people would have a chance to avoid tyranny and maintain their freedoms.
The House is not obligated to play this game. I would take any anti Republican speech made by Pelosi and Reid and change all their references to Republicans, substitute Democraps then read it back to the Press. The Democraps should have thought about Bipartisanship BEFORE they used their previously undivided powers to ram through such damaging legislation built on a pack of lies. Since the Democraps passed it all by themselves, they own it, and they can fix it by themselves. Let them run on it in 2014. And don’t doubt for 1 minute that Democraps would allow people like social security recipients suffer interruption of payments if they believed they could get elected on people’s suffering.
As I have seen other commenters rightly say, if the Republicans don’t stand up now on this fiasco, they will never stand up. (They were banking on John Roberts to do the hard work..ha ha). The Democraps know the longer this goes on, the more people will take notice and it will be turned against them. Never forget, when Democraps start advising what is good for their opposition, you will know their weaknesses and their fears.
I don’t understand how any Doctor could support having some bureaucrat telling him or her how to treat patients.
The AMA actually supports the Unaffordable Care Act. You may recall that disgusting scene in the White House Rose Garden with Obummer at the podium flanked by AMA bigwig doctors. The Won was speaking to the audience of a few white-coated medicos interspersed with White House staffer plants wearing rented white coats sitting ghostly-like in rows of card table chairs while applauding as the Usurper babbled on about his proposed unconstitutional legislation.
In fairness, the majority of doctors don't belong to the AMA, and in speaking to the ones I know, they're against ObamaCare AND they don't like the AMA, either.......but as an effective activist group they're useless.
They're "too busy", woefully politically-naive about the hitoric socialist/marxist agenda, somewhat disdainfully "above the fray"......plus they're real Chicken Littles when it comes to actually fighting in the trenches like we plebian cannon-fodder troops do when the trumpet sounds.

“The Obamacare Revolt: Physicians Fight Back Against the Bureaucratization of Health Care”
“Direct primary care,” which is the industry term for Neuhofel’s business model, does away with the bureaucratic hassle of insurance, which translates into much lower prices... This model is growing in popularity. Leading practitioners of direct primary care include Seattle, Washington-based Qliance, which has raised venture capital funding from Jeff Bezos, Michael Dell, and comedian (and Reason Foundation Trustee) Drew Carey; MedLion, which is about to expand its business to five states; and AMG Medical Group, which operates several offices in New York City. Popular health care blogger Dr. Rob Lamberts has written at length about his decision to dump his traditional practice in favor of this model.

No.
Get them down, then keep kicking and stomping them until they stop moving.
It is what they wanted do to you...
As I have said before, the Stalinists have infiltrated all our traditional institutions [AARP, AMA, church, education...] and they now line up against their previous self-serving members. Pay no attention to that doctor in front of that curtain...
Within ten years most of today's wonder meds will be off the market [and few if any new ones], either by govt fiat or by litigious lawyers, and most of our doctors will be of foreign origin without having to qualify for the same standards as our present doctors; hospitals will no longer have many private or semi-private rooms; waiting lists for specialists and procedures will beyond most folks' needs. ...etc., etc., etc.
Already today many meds, even generic, are getting harder and harder to get.
