While most of Washington has moved on, legal scholars expect a decision soon in a potentially landmark case in one of the federal government's most damaging scandals -- Operation Fast and Furious.
Republican lawmakers, after holding Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt for failing to turn over records they had subpoenaed, are still waiting for a judge to rule on their case.
But they have not forgotten.

Holder is above the law, in his own mind, and that of ObieWan The Stupid.
It will depend on what courts hear any contempt citation and what punishment they met out, if any.
However, it would make a great issue for Republicans and conservatives in Congress to use in the 2014 and 2016 elections against the Democrats.

All that matters is whether she’s got sexy emails that the NSA can threaten her over. That’s where America is at right now. We saw them do this kind of extortion in full view of everybody with David Petraeus and the other military guy that resigned about the same time over sexy emails (what was his name anyway?). Everybody was so busy oohing and ahing over the gory details to ask, “Why the heck was the government snooping in those emails in the first place?”
