While most of Washington has moved on, legal scholars expect a decision soon in a potentially landmark case in one of the federal government's most damaging scandals -- Operation Fast and Furious.
Republican lawmakers, after holding Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt for failing to turn over records they had subpoenaed, are still waiting for a judge to rule on their case.
But they have not forgotten.

If he gets held in contempt he should be forced to resign
I am just about done with Levin’s “The Liberty Amendments”, it is among the most depressing books I have ever read. The statists have destroyed America. It started early on with John Marshall and was exacerbated by Wilson and FDR. Mark’s last ditch effort could work if implemented, but it never will be. The American culture necessary to re-adopt the Constitution has long since died.
put yer big boy pants on.....that book has finally generated action nationwide
decision makers coast to coast are textin, callin, and social this and that’n about it...even TGO says it will not happen overnite but partner, it WILL happen
with or without ya
Hmmmm.... Who’s the judge? Seems like a Dem, otherwise we would not have had to wait so long (Dems dragging it out when it suits them). I’m sure if it was a Repub held in contempt, there would have been a decision by now.
Holder has already been held in contempt.
The case is about forcing him to turn over certain documents, over which Obama has claimed executive privilege.
Nixon tried the same thing, and the court said that evidence of a crime wasn't protected.
I’ve seen glaciers move faster than this ...
Regardless, either side is likely to appeal and those involved say it is possible the case won't be resolved until Obama has left office.
Sounds like the Dem plan to me!!
Thanks, I appreciate the condescension.
If you or I were held in contempt of court, what would happen to us?
But since he's an "elite" MARXIST he will get special treatment. In other words NOTHING will happen to his scumbag ass.
had to be said...not so much to ya, but thru ya
It will be followup to a letter I sent him last June, regarding how the state legislatures can restore federalism, the 10th Amendment.
Marks last ditch effort could work if implemented, but it never will be.
It won't work if good men do nothing.
I believe it is Amy Berman Jackson. She’s an Obama appointee, but she is also the one that presided over Jesse Jackson Jr’s sentencing.
I will certainly be a huge advocate but I fear that our historically ignorant, public school educated electorate will side with their statist “providers”. Even Mark suggests that his plan has its best chance after the meltdown, the same meltdown that the Cloward/Priven folks are causing to advance their marxist dreams. It is a good time to be old, and I am. I fully expect to go out with the scorecard in my favor.
“She” and “Obama appointee”??? ‘Nuff said.
Levin doesn't even identify the amendment that would deny the key tools the internationalists have used to debase the Constitution: fixing the treaty power by amending both the Supremacy Clause so that it is clear that a treaty that exceeds constitutionally enumerated powers truly IS unconstitutional, and amending Article II, Section 2, Clause 2 for to render the threshold of Senate ratification equivalent to a Constitutional amendment; i.e., 3/4 of State legislatures. Without those changes, the rest of his suggestions are legally moot, as hordes of treaties now authorize powers that are wildly beyond its original scope.
H0lder is a cracka dipstick.
All right-—what is the punch line.
This is a joke you know. Holder will slide like the Teflon Muslim in the White House.
Maybe, but during oral arguments back in April, she was clearly skeptical of the claim of executive privilege.
