[history]
According to the Wall Street Journal, the Environmental Protection Agency will propose new rules next week banning the construction of new coal power plants in the United States that do not meet expensive new and ridiculous efficiency standards. The new standards will force power plants underground, literally.

The states with tons of power plants need to cut the lines leading out of state and keep that energy to themselves.
Except that those states are making a killing selling their excess power.

Id say the the dogs in Animal Farm best represent the EPA.
I can't quite remember what the dogs did. The pigs, of course, were in charge. The horses did anything the pigs told them (except for Mollie, who wisely left). Benjamin saw what was going on, but didn't rebel. What did the dogs do?

Well Texas has the only electrical grid independent from the rest of the nation. When we are producing all our power from Fracking produced natural gas we will have a huge competitive advantage vs the other states.
When we first moved there, I couldn't understand Texas not wanting to sell her excess power. Or to be able to import power in the event of an emergency.
Now - it seems very wise.

Bette yet, figure out how much power is generated by “green” methods the environmentalists support and use that figure to determine how many hours the power is on. Also refuse to refuel their eeeeevil polluting diesel generators.

This was known before the 2008 election yet the coal miners still voted for husseinYou are 100% correct. The day before hussein's first election win here in western PA, the commercials pretty much said you vote for this guy, kiss your job goodbye. And what did the idiot union members do?

This is what happens when Congress creates agencies and abdicates its power to them, i.e. the president is the defacto king and can make up any rule that he wants. Exactly. If the EPA is going to make new laws and assume a governing position then We The People should be allowed to elect and/or the leadership of the EPA.
De-fund the EPA now!

the EPA at the very least should be stripped of its regulatory powers. Absolutely! All they need is a receptionist and a cleaning lady. Better yet, a receptionist/cleaning lady.

*What did the dogs do?*
The dogs were raised to be vicious and carried out the plans of the pigs (Socialist leaders).

More evidence that this administration is determined to destroy this country.
