WASHINGTON (AP) — U.S. officials say the CIA has been delivering light machine guns and other small arms to Syrian rebels for several weeks, following President Barack Obama’s decision to arm the rebels.
The agency has also arranged for the Syrian opposition to receive anti-tank weaponry like rocket-propelled grenades through a third party, presumably one of the Gulf countries that has been arming the rebels, according to a senior U.S. intelligence official and two former intelligence officials. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the classified program publicly.

My suspicion when I put on my tin-foil hat is that Stephens in Libya was channeling stingers and special weapons to the Syrian al Qaeda, he knew it since he was an Obama stooge or he wouldn’t have been in the position, and part of the covert plan he didn’t know was that he and all who knew were to be offed.

Reports of anti-tank arms surfaced several weeks ago, presumably through Saudi Arabia. But as noted, if the US is helping this would be contrary to Obama’s “public” orders.

The CIA has been supplying arms to the Muslim Brotherhood in the Middle East for at least a year. That was what Benghazi was all about. It’s time the lazy, worthless Republicans blow the lid off the Obama administration cesspool and reveal Hillary Clinton’s role in this debacle.

Didn’t he say we would not get directly involved in the Syrian civil war? THIS IS INVOLVED! All the sputter about military action against Assad and congressional approval, smoke and mirrors.
