Five days after WND first broke the news that the strategy by Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., and Secretary of State John F. Kerry to cast members of the Free Syria Army as moderates among the Syrian rebel forces was the brain-child of a Wall Street Journal researcher, the analyst has been fired from a Washington think-tank for lying about her qualifications.
As WND reported, Elizabeth OBagy, 26, had claimed she was pursuing a Ph.D. in Arab studies and political science at Georgetown University and working on a dissertation on womans militancy.
In his Sept. 3 testimony before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on Tuesday, Kerry cited OBagy, arguing that the war in Syria is not being waged entirely or even predominately by dangerous Islamists and al-Qaida die-hards, but rather the struggle is being led but moderate opposition forces a collection of groups known as the Free Syria Army.
Kerry was citing an opinion piece OBagy wrote for the Wall Street Journal on Aug. 30 titled On the Front Lines of Syrias Civil War. It ran with a tag-line The conventional wisdom that jihadists are running the rebellion [in Syria] is not what Ive witnessed on the ground.
OBagy, then the Syria team leader at the Washington-based Institute for the Study of War think-tank, claimed she had submitted and defended her dissertation and Georgetown University would soon confer her degree.

Thanks, I guess I was skim reading and it didn’t register that this manipulative liberal child had only worked her way up to “Team Leader” with her false credentials.
Your statement was vividly illustrated last week when Hannity conducted a panel discussion with college students and recent grads. The liberals had one mind and communicated in talking points. To a person, it was obvious that they have spent years being taught what to think, not how to think.
Think you meant to reply to the next post, I acknowledged the difference in the term “spinner”
...and here she is writing Op Ed for the Wall Street Journal. That gives me reason to look deeper into their leftward slide over the last few years.
“The kids today are not coming out with a true education with which they can apply in the real world.

Good commentary.
Watched part of that and had to turn it off. The lack of real world experience , and the naievitay of the participants didn’t give me a
great feeling about our future.
Wait until they are in the real world, saddled with debt/no job, and get an real response to their BS.
Talking points won’t help them then.
It was really Jerome Corsi and his constant BS articles about the Kenyan that turned me off in regards to wnd. That
Jerk promised us time and again that he would produce proof of a Kenyan birth, never to deliver.
I respect what he did with the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth but he has sullied his reputation in an attempt to sell books without any facts or concrete proof of what he claims.
