I’ll tell you this now.

John Boehner and company are IDIOTS.

They could have scheduled to hold this vote on Wednesday without fail, straight after the president requested it.
Obama would have lost the vote, and whatever happened, he would have been a lame duck instantly.

Now, he will destroy the USA’s credibility abroad, at ZERO political cost to himself. The public and the media will praise the bastard as ‘a real leader who knows diplomacy and keeps us out of wars’, all the while more people will die in Syria, meaning the moral outrage of Kerry was flat out BS.

I’m sick of how these slimeballs get away with it every time. Just when you think they’re finished, and we can stop them from destroying our country, they slip away again and it is all thanks to our FECKLESS, PATHETIC, LOSER LEADERSHIP!

F U BONER!!!

"The U.S. does not do pinpricks."

I'll defer to others to comment on what I'm thinking.

he will "absolutely" hold off on striking Syria if President Bashar Assad puts his chemical weapons arsenals under international control

Just like they did with Saddam? How did that one turn out?

Idiocracy, Being There and Boiler Room were supposed to be satirical comedies, not training films.

He added that he doesn’t believe in Santa Claus, although he does. Additionally, he often does the dishes, even though he doesn’t.

Of course we can trust the promise of a genocidal dictator. Don't be cynical.

Oh, okay, so if the strike happens it’ll be “unbelievably small” but “not a pinprick”. That clears up the confusion.

He’ll still do it.

http://market-ticker.org/akcs-www?post=224198
“Now here’s the problem. Obama can’t take the deal. If he does when (not if) there is another chemical attack he’s proved to have been lying about who used the chems the last time and his entire administration’s credibility on the foreign policy stage is irretrievably demolished.

And Rice now says that only “regime change” will do — in other words we’re now trying to reserve the right to veto foreign heads of state.

Good luck with that one Barry. Bush got away with it in Iraq only because Saddam had previously invaded another nation and there was a cease-fire with terms that he violated in force at the time. Syria has invaded nobody.

The problem for the regime — the Obama regime — is that Assad probably isn’t the one who used the chems. At least we know with a reasonable degree of certainty that the earlier attack was effectively an IED, which makes no sense in the context of an organized state military force — but makes plenty of sense when it comes to a bunch of insurgents.

And that, my friends, is why Obama is going to order that our military fire on Syria anyway.

Whether that order is lawful or not.”

More backpedaling. Assuming Assad did it in the first place, Assad can basically promise not to do it again? And so on? I don’t recall those being the terms of that “red line”.

His presidency should be on hold if it comes out that his Muslim buddies gassed those children. The man is a pathological liar covered by his state run media.

“pinpricks”
Obama in a Corvette. A porcupine. Difference.
“Prick’s on the inside!”
From now on, this joke will simply be called out: “Number 27”.
