Welcome to the Canteen, bunkerhill7? That’s an interesting piece of information.

The Guitar player showed up just prior to the service and we ran through 2 songs (As the Deer pants for the Water, and The Old Rugged Cross) so he played those with me. Amazing Grace I did myself, and it went well!
Yes....tomorrow is Terrible Tuesday.

Well, I guess a high of 87 is sort of fallish out here in the desert! It was only 69 this morning....really pleasant!

G’day, Janey...((HUGS))...you are sure having computer issues. Glad to see you’ve made it this far.
Did you have some fun on the weekend?
To: left that other site
Very cool that you were both a solo and a duet.
You can do it, the Terrible Tuesday...you can do it!!
To: ConorMacNessa
Thanks, Mac, for the Missing Man Setting as we remember those who have given their all that we may gather safe and secure.
To: Kathy in Alaska
Well, just like the Mayor said in ODB...all we all need is a little affirmation!

Evening, Lauren.
I visited Hawaii when I was a kid (won’t say how long ago). Nice to see its importance here.

I would love to go there sometime. I have built several test articles that have been flown there through the years.

Kathy, I just saw the most beautiful song performed on the Joey+Rory Show on RFD-TV. I can’t find it on You Tube, but I’m sure it will turn up there soon. It’s from their new album, Inspired, and it’s called I See Him. Here’s the Amazon listing for the album, with samples of all the tracks. http://www.amazon.com/Joey-Rory-Inspired/dp/B00CS9NKQW
My Grandma loved good gospel music, and used to lament that so many performers make the happy news of God’s love sound like the saddest thing in the world. Her favorite was Amazing Grace, which really is a happy song when it’s sung right. They have a version of it on this album, and the short sample sounds good. Grandma would have loved I See Him.
Anyway, take a listen. I think you’ll love it too.
