The White House asserted Sunday that a "common-sense test" rather than "irrefutable, beyond-a-reasonable-doubt evidence" makes the Syrian government responsible for a chemical weapons attack that President Barack Obama says demands a U.S. military response.
At the same time, chief of staff Denis McDonough acknowledged the risks that military action could drag the U.S. into the middle of a brutal civil war and endanger allies such as Israel with a retaliatory attack.

2. The "common sense test" does NOT indicate that Assad is behind the chemical attack -- common sense makes it more likely that the "rebels" used it, to get us to attack Assad and help them. The "rebels" are full of Al Qaeda and associates and they are the ones who have no respect for human life...
The Obama administration has selectively used intelligence to justify military strikes on Syria, former military officers with access to the original intelligence reports say, in a manner that goes far beyond what critics charged the Bush administration of doing in the run-up to the 2003 Iraq war.
According to these officers, who served in top positions in the United States, Britain, France, Israel, and Jordan, a Syrian military communication intercepted by Israels famed Unit 8200 electronic intelligence outfit has been doctored so that it leads a reader to just the opposite conclusion reached by the original report.
Common-sense test tells me if the White House wants this then it will only hurt America and help Al Quada.
'Course, not being Jewish, maybe he's not familiar with circumspection.
Or am I thinking of a different word?
“common-sense test” rather than “irrefutable, beyond-a-reasonable-doubt evidence”
Zero and JFK insist they are ‘confident’ Assad launched the chemical attack. Sounds like they do not have evidence and willing to launch an attack on confidence. How dangerous is that?
“irrefutable, beyond-a-reasonable-doubt evidence”
The more you assert your honesty, the more likely I am to hide my spoons...
I don’t know the source of the quote, or even if I have quoted it correctly, but this is what I am seeing here...

The Entitlement Nation
Common sense says take out Assad, the Rebels, and support the free army that left Assad. But that would be too much to expect an empty head King Obama to consider.
“Common sense” dictated piles and piles of gun regulations in response to some horrific but incredibly isolated incidents such that YOU would lose your gun rights.
“Common sense” dictated that the medical system would be upended and ultimately destroyed.
“Common sense” says that an entity that spends more than it takes in will sooner or later go bankrupt.
“Common sense” says that when you load regulation upon regulation and tax upon tax upon productive business, you will lose those productive businesses and thorw more and more people into unemployment.
So this gaggle of creeps we are stuck with having to call “our government” has not the slightest claim to being possessed of common sense. They have no right to use the term as if they have any.
democrats don’t have common sense. Common sense would dictate that you would have hard proof before taking action.
Common sense dictates that nobama be arrested and imprisoned for his crimes.
I see so its the same as Zimmerman is guilty because he an evil white jew not facts logic
Hmmm. where have I heard something like this before?
“The nature of the evidence is irrelevant; it’s the seriousness of the charge that matters.”
Sorry, doesn't pass that test either!
Obama's RED LINE takes another unexpected turn.
... a “common-sense test” rather than “irrefutable, beyond-a-reasonable-doubt evidence” indicates to me that Obama is not Constitutionally qualified for the office of President.
How about sending some cruise missiles into Chicago to stop the violence there? Same sorta logic for Syria.
