Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli IIs campaign for Virginia governor has begun airing an ad criticizing Terry McAuliffe for his work with the controversial fiber-optics company Global Crossing. But the Republicans campaign has hesitated to discuss the ad as questions have been raised about the way it was made.
The ad says that McAuliffe cashed in, walking away with millions in profits from selling Global Crossing stock, even though the company ended up filing for bankruptcy in 2002. In the ad, three former Global Crossing employees describe how their lives were affected.
He probably had some insider knowledge; it was a lot of lies to make money for themselves, one former employee claims.

If Libs don’t like something they call it *a controversy*. Funny how their ads/statements/actions are NEVER controversial.

If a lib is criticized for corruption, then it is just a “controversy”.

McAuliffe is a CROOK with a capital C and probably funneled money to ACORN. Go Cucinelli!

Democrats consider it “controversial” because:
1. It’s the truth
2. It’s effective

McAuliffe made even more money selling short on GX stock. The story mentions a stock sale in 1999 where he sold approximately 130,000 shares for $62 per share. Yet the story fails to mention that within a few weeks of selling, the price fell below $30 per share.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that there is no way one gets a 180:1 return on investment from a simple stock purchase. Such a profit requires complicated transactions that rely on inside information from you good friend running the company.

Unfortunately for him, Ken is basically a decent and principled person. That puts him at a distinct disadvantage both within the gop and when campaigning against ‘rats.

Why doesn’t someone speak up about the McAuliffe ads which feature an image of Cuccinelli that’s been photoshopped to make him look like a serial killer?
My state is going to the dark side, and fast. On the WSET-13 (Lynchburg) site, I posted a comment in which I called McAuliffe corrupt. WSET deleted it.

McAuliffe is the poster child of crony capitalism. If there was truth in media, then the title of this article would be "Press runs cover for McAuliffe to protect Democrat candidate".
