Two cracked ribs, a broken wrist and 30 staples in my head.
Jumped from behind. It happens. They got a little more of a fight than they were expecting.
True, hadn’t thought of that.
“It was after they hit me and fractured my eye socket that I shot all three men in the scrotum your honor. What’s that again your honor? Yes... I also shot them square in the ass”.
I think appropriate punishment for these three would be a rematch with the former Marine...one at a time.
Especially the Dieter kid. That kid’s picture gives off the same “smarmy punk” vibe as a Billy Zabka*** movie character. Love to see him get his guts stomped out in a fair fight.

***the blond guy leading the bullies in Karate Kid.
With all that has been happening lately ... black mobs attacking whites, black youths killing white WWII vets, etc., I can understand the knee jerk reaction. I don condone it, just able to understand from whence it is coming.
Amen!
And...
Amen. :)
They sound whiter than Wonder Bread to me.
Give them time. I'm sure they are investigating all of the "sources"
Yep.
I always thought the Chivalry was a pretty good car.
From Wikipedia:
Chivalry, or the chivalric code, is the traditional code of conduct associated with the medieval institution of knighthood. Chivalry arose from an idealized German custom.[1] It was originally conceived of as an aristocratic warrior code the term derives from the French term chevalerie, meaning horse soldiery[2] involving, gallantry, and individual training and service to others. Over time its meaning has been refined to emphasise more ideals such as the knightly virtues of honour, courtly love, courtesy, and less martial aspects of the tradition.
The Knight's Code of Chivalry was a moral system that stated all knights should protect others who can not protect themselves, such as widows, children, and elders. All knights needed to have the strength and skills to fight wars in the Middle Ages; they not only had to be strong but they were also extremely disciplined and were expected to use their power to protect the weak and defenseless.
Knights vowed to be loyal, generous, and "of noble bearing". Knights were required to tell the truth at all times and always respect the honour of women. Knights not only vowed to protect the weak but also vowed to guard the honor of all fellow knights. They always had to obey those who were placed in authority and were never allowed to refuse a challenge from an equal. Knights lived by honor and for glory. Knights were to fear God and maintain His Church. Knights always kept their faith and never turned their back on a foe. Knights despised pecuniary reward. They persevered to the end in any enterprise begun.[3]
I think that's the Hollywood stereotype of bullies, created in order that feel-good movies could have an antagonist. In real life, bullies are mentally-tough, fearless and can take a lot of hits. That's how they got to be bullies. Some of them grow up to become gangsters like Tommy DeVito. Others grow up to become Genghis Khan.
I get that . . . but a knee-jerk reaction is just that, a knee-jerk reaction.
What’s the matter with FReepers?
It was 3 on 1, which makes getting behind him pretty easy.
When’s the last time you threw a punch at somebody a shirt size larger than you?
Can’t disagree, just say’in ;-)
What caliber weapon do you carry in your speedo on the beach?!?!
It appears to have been two white 20-year-olds and a Asian/white mixed 20-year-old who were the culprits. One of the comments following the article had a link to another which had pics of all the perps and the 14-year-old victim (but not his father).
Veterans, when faced with the use of deadly force, learn to go for the knees, insteps, eyes, temples, throat, etc. Do some heavy bag work with hands, fingers, elbows, head and feet.
