We are getting involved in a tangle of alliances, assuming that the other tangle won’t care. Austria did not expect anyone to care about a terrorist regime in Serbia, not after their next in line for the throne got killed in a bombing. When the French, Russians, and Germans, all started mobilizing, it was to late.
We don’t think anyone really cares about Syria, not after they supposedly used gas on their own people. But Russia is starting to mobilize. Just like Austria did in WWI, we refuse to see that there is a massive power block that is moving to block us.
WWI was a blunder. No one really thought about what was going on until the war was in full bloom. I see the US doing the same. Obama is looking to start a war with Syria, and Russia has said they will honor their treaties. Yet no one in the nomenclature seems to have noticed.

Nah,...these aren’t even close to the four horsemen...these are only the “birth pains”....nevertheless interesting to follow in light of Prophecy...there’s much more to yet be positioned before the greater events “begin” to occur.
Just as with the Iraq war...too many jump the gun and align ‘certain’ scripture with events.....caution is a good thing to not jump ahead and lay ones own plan of how it “looks”. We have been to the threashhold many times before.
Do you really think Putin gives a hoot about any ME nation itself or it's leaders apart from how they can benifit him?..... He plays them like a violin...... He understands the Sauds and Iranian leadership dynamics very well and that they are at war with each other to ultimately control the ME....
Further, the Jihadists in all the ME countries are positioned by them both any time there are protests in which they can sabotage those efforts....and they do. It is an easy thing to understand why the Sauds would finance the US taking down Assad....they already have in place the administration they intend to place there after Assad falls.....the race on who gets Syria is on. Same thing happened in Egypt...the game players do not change...they simply shift the "visible " players.

As for instructing me to research eschatology...I am well aware of what that entails... but with that also know you come from a religious perspective I do not remotely share.

If anything, the first seal broken (the white horse prophecy), coincides with the beginning of the "birth pains"...

There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains.
Highly likely, IMO, that events foretold by both prophecies begin at approximately the same time...
