That’s actually right on the money, man.

When a system gets ruined and wrecked sometimes it just isn’t worth trying to fix it. The entire system needs to be replaced to restore it. I’m thinking our govt has reached that point.

Sadly the only reason this guy stands out is because he’s at MSU which is relatively conservative for a major university.

I'll have to vigorously disagree with "relatively conservative." They are a far left as any other university in the country.

Having grown up in East Lansing, and having a father on the faculty, and having graduated from MSU, and having read the State News for many years, and knowing Lou Anna Simon personally, and having been Facebook friends with the children of a generation of the faculty - I can say that MSU is as liberal as the day is long.

You wouldn't be the first but I'll put my money on UofM as being far more liberal than MSU any day. There is a course being taught at UofM called the "Republican war on women". The simple fact is that compared to UofM and Ann arbor, Lansing and MSU are like Amish country.

I never saw much political difference between the two, but we always said:

The students at U of M acted like they were going to Harvard, the students at MSU acted like they were still going to high school.

Apparently the professors at MSU also act like they are still going to high school.
